mmm...as an album, It's pretty shocking.

But The Unforgiven III is brilliant. You should listen to The Unforgiven, The Unforgiven II and The Unforgiven III in succession. It's cool.

I totally just read that as, "I'd hate to be the only black guy stuck using v1.4."

I've got that. :D

"That Was Just Your Life", "Broken, Beat, and Scarred", and "All Nightmare Long" are the best, imo.

since my last post I have checked out Megadeth, Cannibal Corpse, Mudvayne, Lamb of God, Cradle of Filth, and Nine Inch Nails. All bands are exceptional excapt Lamb of God, who are meh; Cradle of Filth is just plain legendary!

sadly I try to balance my time listening to music with the other genres. I don't hold favouritism, y'know.

You better have listened to the albums Rust in Peace and Peace Sells...

Tomb of the Mutilated is the best CC album IMHO.

L.D.50 is a classic.

And the album Downward Spiral is also a NIN classic.

Hmm. I've never been in to metal much.

Furry showed me some metal on IRC the other day, I think it was Morning Waits by As I Lay Dying. I /loved/ the instrumentals, but the screaming vocals killed it for me. :/
If someone could recommend me some metal with different vocals, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Leaff: Metalcore isn't for you. Maybe try some of what I like to call "classic thrash:" Metallica (up to the Black Album), Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer, Exodus... Also try Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, and Judas Priest.

System of a Down and Metallica are the only two metal bands I know and like, the latter obviously being the superior.

When people think of DOOOM metal do yall think of old school doom like Candlemass or Saint Vitus, or modern Funeral Doom like Worship or Ahab?

tbh i prefer Funeral Doom, but there are some good traditional doom tunes as well.
