You know what I like, even more than an idiot? It's an idiot with limited knowledge but extremely strong opinions.

jinxed:
Google Chrome is built as a lightweight, speedy browser. It is not made specifically for the same things for which Firefox is famous; and since Chrome doesn't have that many addons, it does not do what Firefox tends to do for me: start up slower than Bowser's Hummer and consume memory per tab like it's an all-you-can-eat RAM buffet. It's as fast as shit. It's as fast as greased shit fired out of a cannon in space, with no air resistance to hold it back. You don't notice a difference? Try visiting a markup-heavy site—like, hey, TheRealN Forums—and hear the whoosh Chrome makes as it renders the page. Not only that, it starts up instantly.

You are right. Chrome has no Firefox-like toolbar. And guess what? Those two icons next to the address bar—the file icon and the tool icon—do the exact same fucking thing. They have all the most used elements that the Firefox toolbar does. Except they're collapsed into a 120 pixel wide space. They act like toolbar icons. Which makes them actually work better.

And what the fuck are you smoking, talking about bookmarks? There's a little star next to the address bar, right? Click on it and it bookmarks the page. And it adds it to the bookmark bar. Immediately. And you can change the name and stuff, in a popdown like Firefox's. You can drag your bookmarks around and delete them. Unless I'm gravely mistaken, you gave the browser a 6/10 because you couldn't figure out the bookmarks. I'm guessing that means you didn't spend more than eight seconds looking at the browser, since "Always show bookmarks bar" is pretty prominent inside the Tools popdown. Even if it's not shown, it's up there when you first open Chrome, as a little box.

Sorry. I'm done now. I'm a bit sensitive about small-mindedness toward Webkit-based browsers.

Edit: Firefox crashed on my virtual machine—doing nothing—while I was writing this heated rebuttal. Chrome did not. Oops.

Edit: it just crashed again. Something's gone wrong here.

Edit: oh, right. Safari and Minefield.

Also, one more question: did you quote yourself in your signature, spelling "sarcasm" with an i?

I completely agree with Wight. I have been using Chrome since it was released to the public, and I have yet to have it crash, freeze, or cause problems since. The only thing I miss from Firefox right now is the open-source-edness and AdBlock Plus.

It's fast, it's secure (relatively), and it's compatible with the most common web languages and formats. How much more could you want from a browser?

:(

You made incluye angry.

I support whichever browser is running on the computer I'm using at any given time. Right now it would appear to be Firefox, judging by the little Earth/Fire/Fox icon in the upper left.

Mmhmm, incluye? None of that happens to me. The Mac version of Firefox is that different from WIndows's?

I mean, my Firef-- gah, I've said this waay too many times.

I too hate the menubar, and that 's the reason I use the addon "Hide Menubar". Why doesn't Mozilla just fucking add an option to hide it with a button, like this addon does, godfucking dammit?

Then clear your cache and try again.

I was running Firefox *on* Windows, so...I dunno. It just kept randomly crashing.
