You are right. Chrome has no Firefox-like toolbar. And guess what? Those two icons next to the address bar—the file icon and the tool icon—do the exact same fucking thing. They have all the most used elements that the Firefox toolbar does. Except they're collapsed into a 120 pixel wide space. They act like toolbar icons. Which makes them actually work better.

And what the fuck are you smoking, talking about bookmarks? There's a little star next to the address bar, right? Click on it and it bookmarks the page. And it adds it to the bookmark bar. Immediately. And you can change the name and stuff, in a popdown like Firefox's. You can drag your bookmarks around and delete them. Unless I'm gravely mistaken, you gave the browser a 6/10 because you couldn't figure out the bookmarks. I'm guessing that means you didn't spend more than eight seconds looking at the browser, since "Always show bookmarks bar" is pretty prominent inside the Tools popdown. Even if it's not shown, it's up there when you first open Chrome, as a little box.

Sorry. I'm done now. I'm a bit sensitive about small-mindedness toward Webkit-based browsers.

Edit: Firefox crashed on my virtual machine—doing nothing—while I was writing this heated rebuttal. Chrome did not. Oops.

I completely agree with Wight. I have been using Chrome since it was released to the public, and I have yet to have it crash, freeze, or cause problems since. The only thing I miss from Firefox right now is the open-source-edness and AdBlock Plus.

It's fast, it's secure (relatively), and it's compatible with the most common web languages and formats. How much more could you want from a browser?

I too hate the menubar, and that 's the reason I use the addon "Hide Menubar". Why doesn't Mozilla just fucking add an option to hide it with a button, like this addon does, godfucking dammit?

I used therealn for the test. I'm either deaf or there WAS NO whoosh.

I was running Firefox *on* Windows, so...I dunno. It just kept randomly crashing.
