Yeah, if this starts over Thanksgiving week, I'm likely only going to have Monday to participate. So if the others confirm before then, can the second round of the quarterfinals wait until after Thanksgiving?
[16:24] <@golfkid> I'm pretty sure I will literally scream if I die on the last column of 78-4 at this point

Wow, I've just taken a look at the demos on 184811, I can't believe so many different routes were used. I thought we were all just squeezing frames out of the same route!

Ok, so currently Kool is looking at a map, and after he makes a few edits, we can start (hopefully by this Sunday). I strongly encourage nagging him on irc or wherever until he gets it done, too :P (No, seriously, do this).

Apparently Kool's map is going to be used for BLUR, which is cool, because his maps are great and enjoyable to highscore.

Right, so a member of the contest is making the map?
That's a bit unfair, no?

amlt, Kool didn't make it into the quarter finals, so he's no longer participating as a contestant. Does that make you feel better?

One of my flatmates wanted to play and managed 755 on speedrun, I didn't realise he was that good at N XD

Anyhow, 696 frame speedrun for me, my demo is improvable though.

Seneschal and TFK, i accidentally made a run under different account :/ i hope we can still count it as mine (i can provide demo to prove it's mine)
Also TFK sorry that i'm submitting a run this late, i originally thought i won't submit anything because i had no time. Hope you still have time to try to improve.

My computer is completely fried. I'm doing this from my dad's laptop, and he doesn't want me to download anything to it...can someone tell me if I've at least subbed a demo to both HS and SR? Thanks.

Oh dear - I'm afraid I'll have to drop out of the competition - I'm leaving the country on tuesday and won't be able to play for the next two weeks. I'm really sorry if this disrupts the contest. Perhaps you can let TFK take my spot if the other pro hs's would agree to it?

If that's not possible I can try to submit a demo on the next map before I leave...

I would have no problem with this. I will be interested in seeing how Van achieved that score, the drones on this map baffled me.

I was intending to start the next round in a few days, so I doubt you'd be able to get a demo in time. I think your suggestion is a good one, though, and I'm perfectly fine with it.
