Read the news report

Short story, a group was created on facebook with the purpose of getting a song called 'Killing in The Name' to be UK's 2009 christmas number one.
For the last few years, the winner of X Factor has been at number one, and to be frank, they have always sucked. So this is a healthy dose of anarchy, en masse.

They have my full blown support.

Here's an image, showing the current iTunes singles chart as it stands.

I highly approve of the intentions, but I would have preferred a different song. I think the proceeds are going to charity, but I'm not sure.

Massively approve there are very few songs I would prefer although I doubt it will succeed they tried to do the same with Jeff Buckley and Leonard Cohen last year with Hallelujah http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hallelujah ... ndra_Burke and failed and they unfortunately have much greater mainstream appeal.

Oh hell yes. Why would they even pick a Miley Cyrus song for Joe? He deserves to get crushed by RATM.
