That sucks man. I've always been afraid of that happening. Especially when using NReality. You never know when the, "your flash player may have been at an abnormal speed" message is going to come.

Get over it, and just make a better one.
If you did have a previously saved data, check to see if there's something you did, I mean it's kinda hard with the raw N data, but you might be able to find some weird things, and maybe NaN's here and there that are causing you problems.
Twistkill is right, even on normal maps, not just N-Arts, you should copy&paste.
And it shouldn't be a problem for you, if you just copy&paste after you complete small sections.
Good luck restarting/fixing you data..

I used to save an N-art that I had been making for 3 days, then realized I couldn't be bothered to submit it. I've gotten rid of the data, and I don't care for submitting it to NUMA, cos I liked it but I didn't think others would.
Move on, save data, or try again.

That is completely different to what delta is saying. You voluntarily deleted the level, he lost it through no fault of his own (unless you count failing to back up data a fault). It really sucks to loose a level you have been working on for hours because of a stupid error message or the dreaded tab-q.Evil_Sire wrote:I've lost my data more than I can count. Well, i hadnt backed up the data anywhere, or anything. So it was gone. And it still is. I remember sitting there staring at my screen for about ten minutes before i dared to move again.

You should memorize the map. You next time then, you will remember where everything belongs.deltainferno wrote:(sorry for the really late reply)

Mine is f12, because It'd be hard to hit that and q in succession.
(I have done it once, and thought it was pretty funny, and forgot how good the map was that was just lost.)

Anyway, I agree w/ most everyone here - keep a copy of the data in a .txt, .doc, .docx, or whatever you use. And make sure to click out of the box before you press 'L' or 'E.' 'Cause that might've been the problem, too, if you were doing that. If not, then shut me up.

I do requests. v
