At the dentist. The shots, the drill, the freezing water, I was not even put unconchis before all that maddness. Even my stomach was hurting afterwards.

Riding a dirtbike down a steep gravel road towards an intersection. The bike failed to turn at the bottom, and it ran straight into the barb wire fence along the edge of the road. It hit a rotten wooden stake, which was holding up the fence. It splintered, and I got a sizeable piece of wood through my lower leg, just missing my tibia. Another splinter went through my right hand, my right cheek was badly grazed, and i had wire scratches all over my torso. Unimaginably painful. I was in hospital for about three weeks, had surgery on my leg, but I've healed well. There's only faint scarring, barely visible.
I also split my forehead on a rock when I was 2, but that's a less interesting story :)

I was thinking unconchis was some anesthetic I hadn't heard of or something.Zer0 wrote:At the dentist. The shots, the drill, the freezing water, I was not even put unconchis before all that maddness. Even my stomach was hurting afterwards.

I think he meant the word 'unconsciousness'. (I know what you mean aapse, don't get me wrong, I am being sarcastically sarcastic anyway)aapse wrote:I was thinking unconchis was some anesthetic I hadn't heard of or something.Zer0 wrote:At the dentist. I got kicked in the balls one time by a 6'1" guy. Didn't even wince.Zer0 wrote:At the dentist. The shots, the drill, the freezing water, I was not even put unconchis before all that maddness. Even my stomach was hurting afterwards.
I've gotten teeth pulled out without anesthesia. No big deal.
This guy I was defending in soccer a few years ago, kicked it when I was 3 feet or so away from him. Right in the face. I played the rest of the game, no big deal.
Played football on pavement, got tackled and scraped my knees and elbows, bleeding. Still played.
To me, pain isn't much of a big deal. But I just hate it when you stub your toe.

The most pain I've ever been in was after I kicked through a plaster wall multiple times and realized moments later that my ankle shattered while in the process of the second kick. Apparently I twisted my ankle on the wall, but continued the kick anyway. I then had to walk about three quarters of a mile back to my house. It was made up for though because of the morphine that was involved after my parents took me to the hospital. I was in there for about a week, and reconstructive surgery was performed on my ankle. It's all better now, I can walk on it without a limp and there's barely a scar.

Ramming my face into the front of a boat as we hit a huge wave, knocking out my two front teeth.
Then having the teeth put back in. Then the root canals.
Not even /that/ painful, tbh. didn't cry or anything, although I was 11 or so...
I guess I was just lucky there was a dentist willing to see me on a Sunday. XD
