Prescience is the converse of that word. I knew that beforehand, too.
What do you think is the most controversial issue worldwide?

Wait, really? Pre- is "before," isn't it? How is that the opposite of "lacking?"ǝʎn1ɔuı wrote:Ironic, eh?Tsukatu wrote:(Tunco: "Ignorance" is the much more common synonym.)

Wouldn't the opposite of prescience be "postscience" or something (which is an ability I happen to have, by the way).
Cuz it seems to me that the opposite of nescience is... science!

I'm going to write a paper for my Physics class in a postscience tone. The entire thing will just be Oscar Wilde quotes arranged in the shape of a swinging pendulum and a subplot wherein aliens write postscience papers that only the narrator, Oscar Wilde Quotes, seems to be able to read.Tsukatu wrote:Wait, really? On second thought, the most controversial issue worldwide, right now, is whether masturbating causes insanity.
...I personally hope it does, and quickly.

Oh balls, you're right. Prescience is precognition. Although it is kind of the opposite, isn't it? Future+present+past knowledge versus no knowledge at all?Tsukatu wrote:Wait, really?
