Personally, I thought Parisian Love, by Google, was touching. The Doritos one made me laugh a little. And of course, Arcade Fire's and Grizzly Bear's made the experience worthwhile.
On the other hand, Dennys' commercials were awful.

Google's commercial was one that really stood out of the generic beer/slap on the face commercials.

No love for Megan Fox? C'mon, my sides were splitting when the mom found herself locked out of her son's room. Still, Google's was probably my favorite. I hope the average quality improves for 2011, though, 'cause it seemed like there were only a few standouts this year.

I missed Google's ... gotta get on that. All the Doritos' ads sucked. My personal favorite was the Carmax featuring Dramatic Chipmunk.

Oh yeah, that one. That got really awkward around my parents when I got picked up from my friend's house.Pheidippides wrote:No love for Megan Fox? Gotta go with Google. Bud Light also had a strong showing, but nothing could really compete, as usual. Also enjoyed cars.com's work.

I liked Google's and the Megan Fox ad. The worst ones I think were the Go Daddy commercials.

^Oh yeah, godaddy commercials were as horrible as ever.
I forgot one, the Dodge Charger commercial was good. (If only because the two girls in my room at the time were like 'uh, why?' with a subtle chuckle, and all the guys were laughing and agreeing, they certainly hit their target)

The Doritos I saw involved a dog getting revenge on some guy who tortured it with chips, and something else that utterly didn't stand out to me. (I did hear good things about one set in a gym, but I never saw it.)smartalco wrote:I will never trust you to judge anything funny ever.flagmyidol wrote:I missed Google's ... gotta get on that. The "green police" one would have been badass had it not ended as an Audi add.

I missed the good Dorito ad that everyone is talking about. I liked the Anheuser-Busch ad with the bull and the clydesdale. The Google ad almost made me cry, but not as much as this ad that got banned this year.

What? That is the only thing that saved it from being mildly stupid.Rhekatou wrote:The "green police" one would have been badass had it not ended as an Audi add.

Eh, I didn't really get to see most of the Superbowl, but the commercials I saw were pretty stupid. The Dodge one was pretty funny, though.

I just found today that you can view all of the superbowl commercials on XBL. I'm not sure if you need gold or not. Its one of the 'Spotlight' boxes right now.
