Yahoozy is annoying and gets banned constantly but we love him because he has great hair and makes great maps and likes cool shit, like Animations and the Arts.Höwl wrote:Then you'd think you'd stop being an annoying guy who keeps getting banned and make a decent map.Rhekatou wrote:Nobody knows who I am. Why do you think he is a global mod, Rhekatou? The fact that he is an awesome dude is not independent.

Some kids at school back in the day crowded around while I was working on a DDA (this one) and I didn't notice until about seven people were watching. It's pretty surprising how many people have played n.

I've spent one or two high school classes doing nothing but N (gotta love not caring about your future), and I usually got props for my playing skill. Especially when I pretended to play DDAs.scythe wrote:Some kids at school back in the day crowded around while I was working on a DDA (this one) and I didn't notice until about seven people were watching. If people saw me playing, I think I'd scare them by staring at the screen for hours on end without blinking. Or they might just hang their coats on me.flagmyidol wrote:I've spent one or two high school classes doing nothing but N (gotta love not caring about your future), and I usually got props for my playing skill.

It's not really a community based on one game as I had figured out. It's based on whatever the heck we want it to be. Seriously you think I'd keep popping back if we put effort into one game all the time. It wouldn't be vintage versatile of me.

I'm pretty sure if Trogdor was still around, he'd be Janitor.
The Todd is, of course, Pavel.

Holy shit I read this whole thread in one sitting o_o'
I'd just like to put in my two cents and say that while I didn't know either b_t or Borealis, I don't blame anyone who was hurt by this whole thing. I don't act much differently online than irl, and I know I'm not the only one; for people who are sincere, it's tough to not get sincerity in return.

Summation of the progression of my view of this community:
I used to be pissed off that #n wasn't a place to just talk about N.
Now I'm glad that #n is a place to talk about whatever the hell, whenever the hell, with whoever the hell you guys.

I dunno, I mean, you can be sincere all the hell you want, but that's no safety net or assurance that other people will be. You put yourself out there to get hurt by overrating the accuracy of people's claims in an anonymous community. And to then feel bad because people didn't trust you in return? It's like a bunch of 5th graders who get upset because, hey man, I told you who I liked, why won't you tell me.maxson924 wrote:Holy shit I read this whole thread in one sitting o_o'

http://greenbrown.bandcamp.comPeople write to me and say, "I’m giving up, you’re not talking to me." I just write them a simple message like, "Never give up," you know? And it changes their life

I think though, that that response is perfectly justified from the 5th graders. When we open up to others and bear our sould, we assume a mutual trust, and I think it is uncommon that that is broken, as most people know how sacred such a thing is, and avoid breaking it.Amadeus wrote:I dunno, I mean, you can be sincere all the hell you want, but that's no safety net or assurance that other people will be. If this were retardville, you'd be correct. But this is Metanet.
