http://greenbrown.bandcamp.comPeople write to me and say, "I’m giving up, you’re not talking to me." I just write them a simple message like, "Never give up," you know? And it changes their life

Week #1 Results
(~15 mb PDF file)
Week #2
Sailing on the High Seas I // Mutiny
--
Exactly what the theme suggests. Set sail and mutiny on board. I'm trying not to give too many directions, I want to let you lead the story, not me.
NOTE: When you submit your map to NUMA, be sure to tag it two things: "crimson" and "crimson2" where the 2 represents the week number.
Deadline: March 19th, 2010.

:( I thought that him starting out in a row boat was creative. Different than all the generic big pirate ships. Also, it seems a little to early for a mutiny. Beginning of journey straight to mutiny seems to fast. The captain has to do something worthy of rebellion. Whatever, it is just that right now my character is on a row boat out in the ocean, and now there has to be a mutiny involved. :(

There's more than one definition for mutiny. Take it how you want it.Aldaric wrote::( I thought that him starting out in a row boat was creative. Different than all the generic big pirate ships. Sorry guys, but people are dropping out of this competition like flies. I really wanted this to go on, but due to lack of competitors, I'm gonna have to call it to an end here. Shame, because I wanted this to go place. I'll try again with a better concept, and will be more prepared in the summer. This whole thing was a great learning experience, I'll take from that and build on it.
Sorry.
Sorry.

Yeah, I figured you would end it because everyone quit. I think that just one week rounds would go better, but I really liked the overall concept. It's kind of a shame that everyone decided to stop. :\

Yea...sorry my ADD threw me out of the competion, I thought I would come back but never did. And thanks for not completely throwing my attempt at a perspective tileset (island and lighthouse) down the drain. Sorry this competion couldn't fully get up on it's feet, but it was a great idea.
Jazz it up
