I might create a poll for this but I just don't know what the most popular options are. I believe most people still use K. I use Enter just because it's easier to hit. I know of some highscorers that use Up. I think xaelar uses Z...?

I didn't like how K wasn't near anything, so I changed it to C, which is near my left shift jump. I tried Z but I found that I would occasionally kill myself by accident. Dunno why I didn't pick X.

I use k. It's healthy for your blood-system (you move your hands) , because your hands and body get humble and humbler when you play N occasionally.

Aside from that, I like using k. It never occured to me that I thought I should change it or I am uncomfortable with it.

I also use up. Perfecting a run is a lot less annoying when you can restart it milliseconds faster.

My little sister has actually been doing this lately, so my impatience with it has been growing. "[Tsukatu], what do people in China usually eat?" "Lots of rice." "Nah, I think they eat a lot of salad." "..."

Anyway, I use the up arrow as my kill button, and down as my pause button. I like having the kill button quickly accessible because I usually prefer to just kill the ninja and start over instead of digging myself out of a mess I get into when I slip up.

Up to jump and right shift to kill so it's all excessively accessible.

I will never understand how you play N with one hand. I've seen your chimneying video, and it makes a ton of sense, but gaming controllers have always been two-handed, so it feels so unnatural to me. My fingers are also not that agile in trying to do multiple things on the same hand. Not sure if this is a cause for or effect of my preference for two-handed gaming.

The guy who showed me the game had it set as up to jump, so that's just how I learned I guess. I tried switching it up a couple times, but failed.

I agree with Pheidi. Like, I don't get the idea that you can both press jump button really fast (which is actually something not quite that easy for the majority - for me it's easy tho) and controlling the ninja.

I have the pgUp and pgDn keys to the left and right of the up arrow, which is directly below the shift key. so i now use those as my directions and shift as jump, which is the same basic shape as l/r/u. plus i get the double shift, and i have the up arrow as pause and ctrl as kill (to the left of pgUp)
