Though I should note: I chose the next best option of "On shuffle, randomly selecting a variety of songs"

shuffle between songs. I rarely listen an album in its entirety after listening to it in its entirety for the first time.
yep. do this too, yungerkid wrote:Mostly I just listen to music in my head as I remember it.
I'd rather watch the scene where Mr. Pink explains the biased nature of tipping waitresses in pancake houses.hairscapades wrote:I'm not saying that just watching the ear chopping scene from Reservoir Dogs is entirely without merit but the entirety of the work is more than its climax and that's always true, no matter the medium. Maybe I could more easily understand your point with some examples?

Shuffle albums, though sometimes I'll shuffle songs. I rarely skip songs.

I have several playlists I constantly listen to: Recent Top Rated, My Top Rated. Then I have playlists by artists with lots of 5-star songs. The rest are personalized playlists, like one for cover songs and one for remixes. I don't usually like to listen any other way, unless it's to rate music.

Currently this is my preference for listening to music - usually I only listen to albums once through in sequential order unless it's an album I have a particular love for, e.g. Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends by Coldplay or OK, Computer by Radiohead for example. Otherwise this is how I usually listen to music.
#1 making a makeshift playlist either on a on-the-go playlist on my iPod or a playslist called "A" on iTunes (since it's at the top) and constantly adding and changing music and podcasts in where I feel.
#2 When I'm feeling particularly lazy I'll shuffle my 5 star playlist or use Genius, which is pretty cool and brings up some music I would otherwise have forgotten or not listened to.
#3 Channel surfing on the radio; call me oldschool, but sometimes (when driving) radio is the only option as I only have a FM transmitter which is only feasible for lengthy road-trips and the quality is average... when I get a car, a MP3 input is a must.
Yeah! Also, I am a part time DJ so there's that... if you don't have a half decent pair of cans and love music, you're wasting da MUSIC BRO!
