I always said Heskey was the key to an England victory and then they took him off ;_;

A Slovenia win would've made everything so much easier

Sweet, England drawing with Algeria gives the US power over its destiny. A win over Algeria advances us.

Other scenarios

US draw, English Draw (assuming England does not outscore them 2-0 or equivalent in their draw)= Slovenia and US
US draw, English Win= England and Slovenia
US draw, Slovenia win = USA and Slovenia
US loss, England Loss = Slovenia and Algeria move forward
US loss, English Draw= Slovenia and Algeria move forward
US loss, English Win= Slovenia and England move forward unless Algeria scores (3+whatever Slovenia scores) goals in their final game

Edit: Clarification on the Draw-Draw scenario because it feels unclear. If England wants to move forward with a draw, they need the US to draw AND they need to outscore them. So, for instance, a 3-3 draw between England and Slovenia would be satisfactory as long as the US draw 1-1 or 0-0.

...and other scenarios for non-US people:

US Win:
England win - England advance
England draw - Slovenia advance
England lose - Slovenia advance

US Win:

I thought it was implicit. :) But thanks!

Here are the the same for the first two groups, for those interested:

Group A:
Uruguay wins, France Wins= Uruguay and Mexico advance unless France scores 3+whatever Mexico scores in their final match
Uruguay wins, France draws= Uruguay and Mexico advance.
Uruguay wins, France Loses= Uruguay and Mexico advance unless South Africa can score 2+whatever Mexico scores in their final mtch.
Uruguay draws, France Wins= Uruguay and Mexico advance.
Uruguay draws, France draws= Uruguay and Mexico advance.
Uruguay draws, France Loses= Uruguay and Mexico advance.
Uruguay loses, France Wins= Uruguay and Mexico advance unless France scores 3+whatever Uruguay scores in the last game.
Uruguay loses, France draws= Uruguay and Mexico advance.
Uruguay loses, France Loses= Uruguay and Mexico advance unless South Africa can score 2+whatever Uruguay scores in their final match.

So, essentially, short of a blowout by either France or the South African club, this is pretty much locked.

Group B:
Argentina wins, Nigeria Wins= Argentina and South Korea move forward unless Nigeria outscores South Korea by at least 2.
Argentina wins, Nigeria draws= Argentina and South Korea advance.
Argentina wins, Nigeria loses= Argentina and South Korea advance.
Argentina draws, Nigeria wins= Argentina and Greece advance.
Argentina draws, Nigeria draws= Argentina and South Korea advance unless the Argentinian draw is by one more goal than the Nigerian, in which case, Greece would advance. (1-1 vs. 0-0, for example.)
Argentina draws, Nigeria loses= Argentina and South Korea move forward.
Argentina loses, Nigeria wins= Greece and Argentina move forward.
Argentina loses, Nigeria Draws= Greece and Argentina move forward.
Argentina loses, Nigeria loses= Argentina and South Korea move forward, however, Greece is tied in points and any of the three teams could be eliminated, albeit Argentina being the most difficult because they have a three goal margin on Greece. Meaning, essentially, that South Korea would be eliminated if Greece outscores them in the last game by at least one unless they also outscore Argentina by at least two.

For Group D:

Germany wins, Australia wins= Germany and Ghana move forward unless Australia outscores Ghana by two.
Germany wins, Australia draws= Germany and Ghana advance unless Serbia outscores Ghana by one.
Germany wins, Australia loses= Germany and Serbia move forward.
Germany draws, Australia wins= Ghana and Germany move forward unless Australia outscores Germany by three.
Germany draws, Australia draws= Ghana and Germany move forward unless Serbia outscores Germany by three.
Germany draws, Australia loses= Serbia and Ghana move forward.
Germany loses, Australia wins= Ghana and Australia advance.
Germany loses, Australia draws= Ghana and Serbia advance.
Germany loses, Australia loses= Ghana and Serbia advance.

So, really, it's anybody's group at this point.

Terrible acting by Ivory Coast. What's worse is that the refs bought it. Referees are terrible this time 'round.

Yeah, definitely. The refs this year--at least ones in the games we really care about--seem to have a thing for being shitty.

Does FIFA go through games and review referees calls and stuff as a way to rate the best refs and what not?

I think that the images at the first post need an update. (if they're going to be updated).
BTW Spain won! In that match they should have won by 6-0, not only 2-0, they had lots of opportunities, but a really lot.

Sadly, Torres still does not look as good as he could, but Villa (in spite of the missed penalty) is a pimp.

Also 77 goals scored so far this tournament!

The USA game is intense. I think the offside call was bullshit, and the US defense is playing great.
