There are many ways to whistle, but that is a topic for another poll. My question is about the direction in which the air flows when one is whistling unassisted (no fingers) through pursed lips.
Exhaling is the common thing but I can only do it while inhaling. My whistling also has a very limited range.

There should be an option for both. When I'm whistling I use both ways, so the "music" I do has no breaks.

Mostly exhaling, though I can whistle somewhat by inhaling.

Both, but I go louder and higher inhaling and get good low notes exhaling.
