I can sometimes get explosively angry; often whilst gaming. I used to just punch things until my rage simmered down, but I have found a new method which seems to work for me. Recently, I created a Rorschach mask (as can be seen in New Picture Project Thread) for general costumed-events use, and have found that if I put it on when angry it can help me become calm. It feels like I'm a different person; someone without rage. I can't explain the feeling that comes over me; it's quite odd.
Do any of you have any anger management techniques? Do you think that anger is the result of a cosmic anomaly distorting the 28th Dimension which effects the emotions of humans?

I used to have anger problems, and punching a dude in the face made them all go away. No joke.
For me it was a buildup, and being able to release all over that dude's face was extremely satisfying. It just made me feel good.
And yeah, since then, nothing. :O

Come to think of it, I don't think I've been genuinely, intensely angry about anything in a long time. I've been angry, sure, but not close to enough to start acting on it. In fact, I actually couldn't for the life of me think of the last time I was significantly angry.
I think the trick to it might be that I'm almost constantly on a caffeine high because I drink obnoxious quantities of coffee. The times in the day at which I would be most irritable are spent in a sort of disembodied haze.
Try doing that.

Sometimes, to deal with my anger, I take Silly Putty™ to the obituaries in the morning paper, spreading it out to cover as much of the text as possible. After allowing the newspaper ink to adhere to the surface for five minutes, I remove the Silly Putty™ and press it onto my face as hard as I can, making sure every account of death sticks to my skin; I allow that pain to become a part of me. Heart pounding, I stare into the mirror and read the obits. off of my face, allowing my own tears to wash away the ink, reminding myself of true human emotion and suffering. The ordeal is so intense that I often black out, and, when I come to, I am collected.
I am glad I'm not the only one that partakes in bizarre and blatantly fucking disturbing rituals to deal with emotion, and I am going to be trying out this Rorschach mask thing soon.

What Yahoozy means is MAKING A CRAZY RORSCHACH MASK IS NOT A HEALTHY WAY TO DEAL WITH ANGER

When I'm playing Trackmania and the car slides waay to early.
When I'm playing GTR and I'm fucking hit in the rear by a fucking bot.

Right now, the only thing that's making me angry is the way Donfuy's sig makes my eyes roll in the back of my head D:<

We had to remodel most of the downstairs living room after I decided it would be fun to replay the parking-garage-tutorial level of the original Driver. My anger management techniques tend to be expensive.
