Finish Ticket. Fantastic high school band, placed top 5 in a nationwide competition opening for Muse (yes maestro, muse) and got second in a big battle of the bands in San Francisco. Free EP and $5 album available at their website
People write to me and say, "I’m giving up, you’re not talking to me." I just write them a simple message like, "Never give up," you know? And it changes their life

Keith Rowe / Sachiko M / Toshimaru Nakamura / Otomo Yoshihide - ErstLive 005

"ErstLive 005 is a 3CD set documenting a four hour performance from Erstwhile Records’ AMPLIFY festival in Berlin, 2004. Beyond the obvious challenges facing four musicians focused on one delicate detailed performance for such an extended length of time, this awesome release also challenges the listener who is used to absorbing music in hour-long chunks at a time."

Listened to this all in one sitting, so very much worth it.

Hey! I've just been listening to an Erstwhile album that I got from the library. Kevin Drumm & Martin Tétreault's Particles and Smears. It's really good!

I can't even listen to music for an hour at a time. Half an hour is usually my limit >_>

Yes, yes, we get it, you're an awful person. You don't have to keep bringing it up.

My point was actually that the sentence about challenging the listener is almost certainly spot-on. Also I jogged/fast-walked for about 75 minutes today and kept music on the whole time. So not only did I more than double my usual music limit, but I exercised.

Today was an odd day.

Cuore amore errore disintegrazione by Uochi Toki is an experimental Italian hip-hop album whose title translates literally to "Heart love mistake disintegration". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ly8E32q-F4
