Aww man, I forgot those. The action is awesome, the music is awesome. They, in their entirety, are completely and utterly deserving of my awe.Condog wrote:Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy.

- 2001: A Space Oddysey <- a true SF classic.
- Kitchen Tales <- Totaly bizarre film. great for it's strange artsy feel. sad story, though.
- Gattaca <- excellent story, and an AMAZING film from an artistic perspective. it's placed in the beautiful Marin County Civic Center (designed by Frank Lloyd Right) and has an excellent score.
- The Terminal <- good film. it actually made me cry - very few films have done that. not sure why that one, though.
- The Hunt for Red October <- absolutely fantastic in every imaginable way.
- Naqoyqatsi <- An amazing art film. essentially a crazy slide show analyzing modern life put to excellent music by composer Phillip Glass. ("Naqoyqatsi" is Hopi for "Life as war")

Hahaha, you must be mistaken. You see, 2001 is, in fact, the best movie.Tsukatu wrote:No no, this is the best movies thread, not the worst thread.jean-luc wrote:2001: A Space Oddysey <- a true SF classic.
