I am glad you like the TASes I have only made a few but they are very fun to watch, albeit quite hard to make. These "backwards corner jumps" I think you are talking about are when you come up from underneath a bounce block and jump off it as though you were doing a corner jump. These are really backwards wall jumps and when done off of a bounce block we call them "Backwards BounceBlock Wall Jumps" (BBBWJ) You can read more about them here: /viewtopic.php?f=21&t=6065 in the first post you can find most of the tricks in this game there are a few more, but they are so hard/uncommon that they really aren't useful in the Metanet maps. Try this map http://www.nmaps.net/152816 if you want to practice these BBBWJs.zapkt wrote:Yea I saw those TAS and they are just awesome. i love watching TAS on random games so it's great there are now TAS for n. I think it'd deserve a place in the game itself : on each level, a TAS seen as "the perfect demo to reach" :p (is Unreality still programming Nreality ?)
I'd need an explanation on these backward corner jumps by the way. Is there a thread about them somewhere ?
Edit : For BLUR4 it will b hard. I'm leaving on Tuesday so it will be short to make a run...
Also join blur if you cant make the deadlines you can drop it isn't that big of a deal. It would be worth it to get you in the comp, and if you join maybe we can convince trib4l to play, he frequents IRC so we might be able to convince him, you should try IRC, if you have an IRC client.
