Well, I apologize for coming off negatively. I wasn't trying to be a dick, I was trying to make a constructive suggestion.

I'm just saying a one-time, "hey guys, the contest is starting now" reminder PM is a nice thing to do at the start of a contest and ensures that everyone remembers to get in on this fun event that you're running. Also, it only takes 1 PM because these forums allow you to add as many recipients as you want to any given PM. So the only hard part is typing out everyone's name in the recipient field. I've run complicated groups on these forums before, and I can say from experience that reminder PMs are among the easiest things to do.

Quote from 2nd post:
vankusss wrote:They should have speedrun route like 300-600 frames long, hs route at least 1000 frames and with a large variety of routes. Preferably maps which weren't played a lot (with almost no demos on their page).
none of those maps you suggest match these criteria, inspired
other rules: no minejumpers, no races, no ddas, everyone should be able to finish it at least, no image maps

I would vote for some of these maps if I could beat more than one.

In speedrun, xaelar should have 4, Inspired 4 and Tunco 2.
Achievements:

Completed N and NReality.
106 N v1.4 highscores.
I used to maintain 1000 NReality Level Top20 Highscores - Ranked 0th
Former Owner of Episode 169, way back when.
I've taken 10 Metanet 0ths. 6 of them lasted <2 days. I don't have any of them anymore. >:(
Third Place in BLUR 4 highscore.
Not highscoring anymore until v2.

Thanks ska, now I know what to not vote for
unless you expected me to realize that it would be in my best interest to force you to play a map you didn't want
in which case you intentionally told us to vote for a different map then you actually do want
therefore i will vote for 171798 and your subsequent demise
and yet, surely, you were aware of my superhuman reasoning skills from the start and counted on me to see through your evil plot and are suggesting a map that you do truly wish to play in order to confound me
so I absolutely must not vote for your map!
But!! You must have known I would always be one step ahead of you and prepared for that very contingency...

oh wait, i already voted before seeing your post
never mind

Got to say 171798 is definitely the best of the choices.
Numerous ex-0ths (xaaaaeeeelaaaar!), over 300 top-20s and a 19+ hour total score.
Unreality's awesome mod
You are an innovator at least as good as Lim ;D - xaelar

Awesome, I'm a high score group winner, even though my total score is less than the second player in my group.

Probably the funniest forum post I've ever seen ^_^

I thought the end of round 3 was the 7th, hence the poor scores lol.
Anyway, the points wouldn't have made any difference anyway -.-
Edit: couldn't you use 171798 for round 5?

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?

Why didn't you count my submitted run? I did it about 10 minutes before deadline, so there's no way you can tell me I did it too late.
Please check again and correct!

EDIT: Compare with Tunco! He submitted after me, but his result was counted. That's not fair...

yea thx for pointing that out, i somehow missed your score, sorry
but you still end up 2nd in your group and 0.125 behind Tunco in the table, so it doesn't make any difference
and you submitted 1hour and 10 minutes before deadline, Tunco submitted 8 minutes before (end was 6th september 18:00 GMT, nreality server is GMT+8, your run was submitted 00:49:56 7th september on nreality's server)

Thx, too.
I know it doesn't change anything for elimination round, but it makes me prouder to be 2nd in group, rather than being last. Plus, now me total score is best in my group (and still it isn't enough for advancing to the next round, sniff...).

Nevertheless, I enjoyed taking part. You can already sign me up for next blur season. ;)
