Does anyone else here like Panera? For those of you who don't know, it's a fast food for bread chain... good stuff. I especially enjoy the soups in breads.

Sort of pricey for what you're getting. I prefer the non-franchises for a good soup and sandwich. Like the Sky Blue Sky Sandwich Company. Everything's under five bucks, you get a deal if you pre-order online, it's named after a Wilco album and all their sandwiches are named after Wilco songs. Not to mention it's mouth-wateringly delicious.

I'm lookin' at four slices of bread with pasta sauce between them, which is hardly appetizing. No wonder you don't hear much of Canadian cuisine.

It's okay, not great, a little overpriced. Jones soda is pretty cool.

A thick slice of mozzarella topped with tomato, sweet onion and sprinkled with basil leaves. Jalapeño bread and tasty wasabi mayonnaise. It's a vegetarian sandwich.

Their cinnamon-sugar bagels are literally orgasmic. Be warned, possible side effects include artery clogging, heart disease, and cardiac arrest.

!!! I got to try their thanksgiving lineup once, which consisted of flavors like Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Cranberry, Stuffing, and Alka-Seltzer. My family took turns doing shots of each to see who could last the longest. It was terrible. Though Cranberry wasn't so bad.

That works on both levels. Nicely done.

On the subject of Panera, I used to be addicted to their Tuscan Chicken Sandwich before it got discontinued or whatever. I'm still fond of their food, but the frozen caramels give me horrible gastrointestinal complaints.

A cinnamon sugar bagel would be the healthiest thing I eat on some days.

Nonsense. Most of the animals I eat are vegetarian, and they taste just fine.

It's a miracle this thread isn't about Pantera. That's what I assumed the first four times I ignored it.

EDIT: Too expensive, at least locally, but Tanner's Wilco sandwich place is cool. :3

Hell of a lot better than most chains, but unless you live in Wyoming or something there's bound to be a far superior local place.

Local places serve the best food, from experience. Chain restaurants are terrible compared to them.

Techno pines for the good old days of fast-food franchises that cared.
