Character name: Alex

Bio: I am very dark. I have dark skin, darker eyes, and even darker hair. Or, well, my skin isn't really all that dark; more like a mocha color. Indian, I suppose. My psyche is rather dark as well; optimistic, somewhat, but with pessimistic overtones, and a healthy dash of cynicism as well.I am fairly lean, but for the most part, I have next to no muscle tone. I estimate my height to be around five feet, ten inches. I wear glasses. Jeans, T-shirts, and sneakers are usually my dress code. I am fairly analytical. My intelligence is strictly above average, and my attentiveness varies; if faced with a puzzle involving high practical intelligence, I more often than not wouldn't do too well. But abstract thought is a strong point for me, I guess. I also tend to think to myself a lot. Small little lines of thought. Much like the sentences in this post!

Skills: Not many. I have a large vocabulary; as stated earlier, I excel at abstract thought and theological principles; I am fairly proficient at guessing what people will say or do, and prepare for those eventualities accordingly. I am mostly agile; that is, I am lithe and have fairly good reaction times to being attacked, or something. But I have almost no endurance at all. So yeah. Not many.

I am really quite fascinated by this game. It seems like a very... Abstract thought experiment.

EDIT: Erm, since everyone else is doing this, I will too! Okay. Also, am I the only one who picked a real name for this thing? :/

Alex regained consciousness in his room. A lamp was alight on a table to his left, and he was on a bed that was rather fluffy. He pushed on it a bit; it seemed to be made of feathers. Down, he corrected himself. He examined the room he was in. It was small-ish, and tan. Or maybe it was because of the very yellow bulb casting it's glow throughout. He didn't know. The only entities in the room, besides his bed, the lamp, the nightstand on which the lamp was resting, and, of course, him, was a large wardrobe to his right, and a door directly ahead of him. He tried opening it; locked.
"Hmm," he mused.
He examined the door a little closer. There were no hinges present, and if there were, they were cleverly hidden. It was large and a warm, thick, reddish-brown, and when he knocked on it, it came back muted. So I can't just try and break it down, he thought to himself.
It was then that a sudden wave of exhaustion spilled over and through on into him. He staggered back to the bed, sinking a bit on the soft down. the last though his mind had as he drifted off was a passing observation that he had no idea as to how or why he was there. But that was something he could do at another time.

Third time's the charm, and it's real.

First off, there will in fact be [X] amount of floors. More than one. We have decided however to eliminate the "No speaking between floors" rule because... well, there's not very much way to work that out.

Secondly, you will be spread across 5 different floors. There may be more in store for you.

Thirdly, there will be a Lift present allowing transport between floors. However, its use may be limited...

Fourthly, I will say this: This is a team effort. You are not on teams by floors. You are a group.

Finally, I will release.... the current floor distribution of people!

Floor 1 will contain: UniverseZero, xwd, mohamedraif, and LAZORTITS(Donfuy)
Floor 2 will harbor: bhz, flagmyidol(Curse Of The Colonel), and LittleViking (How did random.org do that?)
Floor 3 will house: Destiny, 987654321, Manus Australius, and wumbla
Floor 4 will have: 999_Springs, Maxxon, Drathmoore, and Reginald Poon(spoon)
Floor 5 will have: Inspired, Kamikaze3000, and Rozer.

Get pumped. It's slowly piecing itself together. We can only try to make it piece itself together faster by making more pieces to piece together the pieces of the whole that are currently already trying to piece themselves back together, which is completely weird, because they were never pieced together in the first place, so it would be wrong to say "piece themselves back together".

Basically, we're hurrying.

From what I gather from IRC this game is about you yourself and not some character you want to be within the game... But from this topic it seems to be the opposite. So I'm confused. If it is the opposite, then count me in, otherwise ignore this.
