Also, Smilies aren't available yet, right? Or maybe I just can't locate them...

Smilies aren't available. And there needs to be a forum akin to "This Forum".

About the skins, I want to use the Hello Kitty skin, as, it was really interesting reading about a ninja related game while all the topic sparkled with glitter.

I noticed I can delete my posts if I want to. Will that be cleared up? And the numa option is neat :D
Sire, go to the user control panel, then board preferences. There, you can change the skin. I'm currently using green vision.

The new subforums are combinations of old subforums. "This Forum" falls under Discussion.ruN wrote:Smilies aren't available. And there needs to be a forum akin to "This Forum".

Maybe it's just me, but the signature images look ugly on this dark black skin. I hope the final skin isn't black, too.

Also you're not restricted to using the Black and Purple one. Go look under Board Preference in your CP.

Oh, I didn't realize that. I'm using the prosilver right now, unfortunately it took me about 30 seconds before I could find the reply button here. Also, the font colour of the usernames blends in with the skin, making it hard to see them, hah.

The new forums are awesome! Good time to switch too, in the autumn, as it's the time for change. The black theme is awesome. I love the font color feature on the side too. Set of features. I predict huge successes on your part, admins.
One question, is the sig size limit still the same?

Will the IRC link be added to the main page?
What does- do? I can't get any function from it...
Will we get to see an implementation of LV's User Page recent maps test thing?
Any way to turn off the page after post submission?

Agreed. That feature is awesome.SkyPanda wrote:Also, I love the "you may wish to review your post" function, although I could forsee it becoming glitchy and annoying in high-traffic threads.
Please do not complain...you can choose a skin in the "Board Options" panel of your control panel. There is something for everyone.Evil_Sire wrote:i want old skin!
it's nicer than this nasty black
Dave got these new skin options from all around the internet. The styles were not made by him, nor by anyone in the community, so I am doubtful you'll get an answer to that question.incluye wrote:With the Hermes skin, why does the banner say "Support Forum"?
Not every forum has a fast reply option. To be honest, it just encourages laziness, so I don't see any reason for it on our forums.Dead_N wrote:Also, the fast reply is GONE! :(
I fancy myself quite a fan of the color palette as well. Also, I've noticed that clicking on a color just puts the hexadecimal code for that color up, so if you know anything about your codes, you can make any color imaginable. Much nicer than the old method.mediate wrote:The new forums are awesome! Good time to switch too, in the autumn, as it's the time for change. The black theme is awesome. One other thing I've noticed is that the new forums do not have .gifs for emoticons (at least none that I can find), which automatically replace things like ":)" or "." I would consider this an improvement. No more :wow: :wow: :wow:.
