As of today, if you own L4D2 (and possibly L4D actually), or buy it before Thursday, you get Ellis's Cap and the Frying Pan in TF2. That is what happy up there is talking about.

Pan is for solly and demo only. It's also a downgrade of their best, so it seems a little pointless.

PS - You could trade that Bill's hat for a few very nice v.hats if you ever wanted to. They seem to be quite popular.

Has this been happening to anyone else? Sometimes when I play as scout my stun-ball doesn't show up, even though the meter is full.

Hm. Try switching weapons, then switching back. A lot of people are having problems with some of the weapons right now, i.e. the reload animation on the Pyro shotgun won't stop until you shoot or switch weapons.

So, I love the fish.

I've ended up with 3 hats this week, a Prussian Prickelhaube (Craft) which I gave to a hatless friend who mains Medic, a Chieftain's Challenge from a crate, then an Old Guadalajara from the crate after that. So 2 hats from 2 crates in a row.

All I need now is a Spy hat, any offers, I have a Stainless Pot for trade.

Also I have the GRU, Degreaser and Vita-Saw for trade, want Powerjack, Bushwacka and Mad Milk preferably.

Also Yahoozy, from those images, do you have HDR and Bloom on? I never turned Bloom on because in CS:S I would get blinded if I looked in certain areas.

Haha, they're not my screenshots. They were taken by a friend. I use DirectX 8.1, all my settings are lowest, and I have an FPS config. that lowers the graphic power even more.

It's got some shinier effects from DX 8, and doesn't actually use a whole lot more than juice DX8.
