This week Ska improved his 29-2 twice ending at a frame over a half second faster to secure that 0th. And I think that is all that happened this week... Wait... Oh thats right, now I remember... Vankusss took over 10 0ths for the 5th week in a row and took 0th overall, finally passing the longest reigning 0th holder of all time xaelar. We at Metanet have a new N champion, vankusss, he now holds the most 0ths of any player at 173. Congratulations to van for this great achievement and to xaelar for standing stoic atop the list for 3 straight years until today. I suppose a new chapter in the Metanet community begins today. Who knows what will happen, but lets find out.

This week ska improved his 29-2 twice ending at a frame over a half second faster to secure that 0th.

Actually, it was 3 frames less than half a second improvement from my initial 0th. But it is currently 1.05 seconds faster than 1st.

Also, big ups to van for overtaking xaelar... let's see if xaelar does put up a resistance.

Congratulations to van for this great achievement and to xaelar for standing stoic atop the list for 3 straight years until today.

Props to xaelar for motivating and being a hardly beaten opponent (let's say the obvious truth - if he was active I would never be 0th).

Who knows what will happen, but lets find out.

I would like to see some tournament system, like the one I suggested in BLUR 4 thread:

I have also another contest idea, it's called ROPP. It stands for Random, Open, Private and Protected. It runs for 2 weeks, no registration time, 4 maps are chosen and played for whole 2 weeks. 1 map is submitted as normally (open), another one is with protected contest feature (you can see only scores of other people), another one is private (you can't see nor runs nor scores) and the last one is random from three previous types. This is the definition of 1 round of ROPP. Another round can be held for example 2 months later, so people aren't overplayed with N. 2 weeks from 2 months sounds good. There can be some ATP rankings (like in tennis) or something like that (6 'tournaments' or 'rounds' a year). Maybe some Masters Tournament at the end. I'll let you to decide the details. The host can play, too. Maps can be chosen from numa or created. The point is to keep the competition short and action-full. Hope it will happen.

It isn't really thought-through, but I guess it might work somehow.

They are pretty competitive. I didn't see too many familiar names when I played around on my friend's xbox. (I don't own one my self) I do remember seeing a few TFK 0ths iirc.

As for the rankings they will be up later today. I was gone all weekend so I have to do some catch up on Eddy and you. Also this Fairy_tale guy.

This week was quite eventful and it was full of huge gains in total level score. There were two big changes this week to the rankings, Eddy enters the top20 tied for 14th with 5 0ths, but he bumps JF out of 19th place and out of the top20. johnny_faneca has been in the top20 0th rankings since June of 2005. He has now gone the way of tk and soon to join him will be trib4l only clinging to 19th. This week all began with a skirmish between Eddy and van over 88-0 after van Innovated the level and change the whole route. Eddy a recent new comer was even able to thwarts van's efforts and even take van's second innovation and use it to beat him. Eddy's 0th lies over 3 seconds faster than lat's original 0th. Next van step up to the plate with a huge, 4.875 second lead over 1st on 46-4. He was able to pull off the a chimneying innovation and get the 3 extra gold. Using van's success shortly after TFK was able to cut the lead down quite a bit taking 1st using the new route. Eddy threw in another great run on 27-0 first beating xaelar and thinking he had taken the 0th, only to find out that schwah was not considered a cheater, then he improved several times and beat schwah, taking one of the great runs on the boards by .325. We may have to keep in eye in this conquistador. Lastly a new player appeared on the boards this week "Last_FairyTail" took 1-1 and 00-0 by a few frames each. FairyTale used NReality so that give the community the sense that it is someone who has already played. I am not sure if anyone has checked to see if it is someone off NUMA, but if not, who could it be? As a whole this week the community went +8.400 seconds in total level score!

I'm surprised that this hasn't been noticed before, but shouldn't you include the tied 0ths that fell off the bottom of 59-0? here:

If the decision is up to me, I would count the 0th from 59-0 only to Knu.
The rest is just messing the rankings with their solo-0th. Having 0th on that level shows no skill.

Well either way I do it, whether I add the 0ths back or subtract them out it will kind of be a pain in the ass, but it is only johnny that matters since every one else doesn't have more than 3 0ths. But I am fine with letting them go. Most people can get 212 on that map with in a few tries, so the reason those people have 0th is becuase they were around back then, but soon people will be saying that for 5-2, so i can see the argument either way.
