  • Gothic: (any of the series)
Mirror's Edge: Tremendously fun, but it can be frustrating. Occasionally, hitboxes are stupid. (for jumps/ledges.)

Blue Shift: Booooooooorrrrriiiiinnnnggg.

Opposing Force: Fucking awesome. As fun as HL1, maybe. Less memorable moments but sweet guns.

There seemed to be some plot holes in Opposing Force. It is still really fun though.

no matter, what killing floor always brings me back whenever i get sick of a game or all of my games. its simple, brutal, modifiable, and filled with custom maps. worth the money. as for monotonous.... idk, sometimes yes but then just shut it off and come back to it later.... which you will lol. if you wanna try it, ill consider feeling the Christmas spirit

GODDAMMIT I just realized if I would've waited a week to purchase the complete Vavle pack I could've saved $50 -_-

Has anyone played any of the Heart of Iron III games?

Sale is over. I got 8 games and the Claptrap DLC for Borderlands for $43.75. Not too bad.

I purchased, in total, not including the four or five gifts I bought, 41 games for myself, at a grand total of 153.19$. (Avg. per game: 3 dollars and seventy four cents.)

Using nothing but gift cards, and thus zero cost to myself, I have bought the Halo Reach DLC, Tron Evolution, Limbo, Sonic 4, Banjo Kazzoie and Banjo Tooie for the Xbox, and Aquaria, Beat Hazard, BIT.TRIP BEAT, Blueberry Garden, Braid, Chime, Deus Ex: GOTY Edition, Deus Ex, Invisible War, gish, Half Life 2: Deathmatch, Half Life 2: Lost Coast, Lugaru, Machinarium, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom, Osmos, Penumbra, The Polynomial, Rhythm Zone, Super Meat Boy, Turba and World of Goo on Steam, and also Minecraft.

So this past month, that totals 27 games (Noble Pack and Lost Coast both really only count as .5 each), all without spending a cent of my own money.

It's a pity that my pay didn't come through fast enough, though. I really was eyeing that square/eidos pack, and it's a pity I missed it. Next year, perhaps. :/

I totally just read that as, "I'd hate to be the only black guy stuck using v1.4."

Not even a year we get stuff like this every 3 to 6 months, it is why steam is awesome as all hell. Also weekend deals (friday - monday sale), midweek madness (tuesday - thursday sale) and publisher weeks (entire catalogue on sale, daily deals from that catalogue).

Incidentally it's kind of sad it's gotten to the point where most publisher packs I don't even think about getting because I own 60% of the games in it.

Be sure to check out the Half-Life mods Azure Sheep and Point of View, among the millions of other mods for the game out there.
