With a nice beard and 'stache he'd be a contender for Metanet's Finest.

And he's older than I expected. I think "Pony" threw me off. :/

People think going to the beach is about the sand, the sun, and the waves. But really it's about the quad-bikes. It's all about the quad-bikes.

I went to a beach without them once. It wasn't quite the same.

Also, note the complete lack of safety equipment. That's what happens when you rent for the local rednecks. Nice change of pace though; most places have you sign six contracts and a waver before letting you near them.

The first photo doesn't really provide a good scale, but it's the best I have. And my hair has grown a bit since it was cut (December).

From Wikipedia:

The All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) is commonly called a quad (bike) in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom and parts of Canada, India and the United States. They are used extensively in agriculture, because of their speed and light footprint.

I guess it's a cultural thing then. But we call them quad bikes.

Holy crap. You've made me realise that cutting half my hair off is a freaking weird thing to do. Ahh crap. I didn't really think about that.

The other day, I decided I'd dress up like a total douchebag.

Not to suggest that he looks like a douchebag, but that's a bit of a Nathan Fillion look there.

Yeah I remember you were Captain Hammer.
