I had to read this book for an art class. It's... interesting, (and very very NSFW). It's essentially about the tale of a teenage couple discovering and experimenting with sex. Lots. And it's very detailed, with lots of pissing and eroticism and some gore. Note that Bataille wrote it in 1928, originally. If you want to give it a read, here's a link.

I agree with Suki. It's not so much the fact that it's erotica, it's that it's incredibly bad erotica. It really does read like a 14 year old girl wrote it. The sections that I've read of My Immortal are only slightly more horrible than this.
