Anyways... Summer is approaching and I will have some more time on my hands. I am thinking of running a competition. If I do I wan't to have it all planned out before I start it so that we don't have to vote for maps and shit like that. My question to everyone who want to participate, what do you want out of this comp? Just a simple highscoring comp? or would you guys enjoy random other tasks that give points if you are fastest at completing them?

I would want something small and not long-lasting. That means, < 2 weeks or so. Maybe 1 such comp each 2 months. Or something. But I won't join sooner than 1st July, so my opinion might not be relevant.
I can set up you a poll in my thread, or you can ask xaelar to do one here. Or you, as a mod, might do one yourself anywhere. If you want poll, that is.
I don't make much sense today.

xaelar kicked ass this week. He started off improving his 88-3 early in the week by half a second. He used a really quick CJ at the end of the level to avoid doing an extra jump to distract the laser drone. Then not much happened for the rest of the week until today when within 2 hours xaelar took 4 more 0ths. He started off by shaving 16 frames off of van's 35-2 with some of the great cleanliness that he is known for, but he also had a small, but quite significant innovation on the bottom going to the left. He turned back and did a wall jump instead of landing on the floor for that third gold piece. xaelar also did a similar action to van's alter ego's 21-0 by getting to the exit 5 frames faster, though with out any innovation. Those two 0ths widened the gap between xaelar and van by 4. Seeking to add to his total xaelar also took thedupli's only 0ths, 41-0, by 6 frames with another stunningly clean run. This 0th has stood for several years, but alas thedupli is no more. The final cleaning job xaelar pulled off this week was on 59-2. xaelar saved 7 frames off of Eru's run with nothing more than some well timed jumps. As a whole the community improved the total level score by +1.450 seconds.

Ah, I guess I do remember that you had that WJ there, but either way it looked great. It was a very clean run. 41-0 was awesome too, thdupli has had the 0th for a long time. I have no idea how you kept speed going up the slant while landing. Every time it looks like I am going to do that I die.

From time when I was doing ep 84, i got like .350 on 84-0 agd-1, and like 1 sec faster than lim on 84-3 agd-1, too. So yea, there is space.
84-1 has to have a route which beats the drones, though it might involve bbcj and bmwj or things like that.

This week there were only two 0th taken, but one incredible innovation. Arctic_Pony takes his first 0th this week. He took xaelar's MAXED 92-4 run. xaelar had a frame perfect maxed run on 92-4 until Pony came in a shattered that run by 2.100 seconds. On a run that was only 419 frames to start Pony was able to clip off 84 frames, 20% of the time gone just like that... You may ask how could he take a maxed run? Well I am glad you asked. With an incredible innovation, he manages to go under and past the top drone on its move past the forward 4 tile. This map seems destined to look maxed and then someone comes along with a brilliant idea. First it was kryX now it is Pony's turn. A fantastic entrance to the highscore boards for our follow NUMA user, and hopefully new competitor. xaelar also took a 0th this week to keep his 0th count neutral. He cleaned up Lim's 87-4, beating him to the exit by 7 frames. He manged to complete the AGD run in exactly 1000 frames and had quite a shnazzy post exit ending if I do say so my self. As a community we improved the total level score by +2.275 seconds this week.

Oh and Pony nice 0th :P I still think the drone at the end of xaelar's run can be beaten, resulting in a similar time as Pony's route.

Hey sorry about not putting up the rankings. Last week was finals week and Then I was gone all weekend, I just got home. Xaelar was the only one that took a 0th this week and it was 52-4 yesterday. Quite a nice run. Now that I have some time I'll post the rankings when I get around to it.

Only one 0th was taken this week. Yesterday xaelar grabbed 52-4 from Eru. Eru had previously beaten Lat's run by collecting the missed piece of gold at the end. xaelar bests that run by .225 with some cleaning. xaelar's ending shows a few spots of panic, but his skill prevailed and he landed him self a great run. Even though his run was pretty clean there still stands quite a big pile of frames left for any other competitors to take advantage of. The community total level score increased by the same .225 seconds.

Seriously. I should start my email campaign again and constantly send them messages until they either take action themselves or give me access so I can take care of it. I know exactly what runs to delete. It is a damn shame. With over 30% of the top20s taken by hackers, if they were deleted there would certainly be some new competition of people trying to grab the lower top20 spots that will now be open.

Didn't even notice that at first. Also it's not only 02-0, xaelar has been pushed off 00-3 as well. Also 01-2 has only 1 spot left.

i was aware of those too, but i was concerned how it'd spread to episode 2... Also, if the hackers do get deleted, do the previous 0th holders get reinstated? Or are they just blank spots?
