first get the top left (trigger > switch, or switch > trigger), then enter the center diagonal passage and get all the diagonal gold, then to the bottom right trigger, then bottom right exit

Oh yea you guys are right, I thought right bottom triggers traps around left bottom drone...
Looks more interesting now.

EDIT: I did this test level:


Currently, the top drone starts shooting exactly where we want it to. In real run, you'll fall like I do, so it will be like totally random.
Secondly, I can't even be fast enough in this test map to make it up fast.

My tweaked route for 85-3 is faster (check submitted run).
Also do this near the end:


EDIT: note - you can take 0th even with old route but with that ending trick

This level won't reflect the real level! This is because of the Drone AI cycle

If there's only one laser drone in the map, it aims at the ninja for every single frame

if there's two laser drone plus some guass in the map, they take turns so the laser drone won't aim at the ninja directly

in real 87-1 you do have enough time to jump from the bottom left to the top right

Hm I didn't think those few frames have that much impact, my bad.

Demo:


This innovation is to jump in the tunnel up top and land on the 8 tile further out so that you can make it up to the platform with the gold and exit switch. Anyone think it is faster? It's not too hard especially if you land flat in the tunnel after dodging the rocket up the way up the wall.

Demo 2:


Low jump also works though this would be slower than the the first strategy. Not sure how much slower though because timing can't be compared because I was slower in the start, but I only hit the ground 5 frames later and I was slower in both the start, tunnel entry, and falling past the 8 tile of the platform with the the exit switch.

Yeah I might try for it, but the ending always fucks me. I have done it a few times. Your run isn't the cleanest at the start, it was your ending that did it for you. You got a near perfect slide.

59-2, take top gold in 1 go at the beginning, and then at the end, when going to exit, do this:



it's not really easy, that was my first time I got high enough rcj... so if someone has a lot of time, go for it

EDIT: it's around 3 seconds faster

I think it's a clever idea and appears to save a nice little nugget of time. It also seems like even if you miss the corner jump, you could still salvage the run...

savestates is highly forbidden as it could create bugs for highscorers to cheat (retrying in the middle of the game)

This may be true is people could hack it in other parts of the game. I was thinking that it would be an extra step on the end of the underclock slider. Like the slider would snap at -500 and then you could pull a little further to get "FBF" in and this state and only in this game state you could use rerecording and savestates. This would turn MDBing in to TASing so people other than Raif could make amazing runs and test innovations.

NReality6g is up at n.infunity.com

it adds a shadow function for demo runs and your previous run

to make the demo shadow works you have to patiently finish watching a demo first (either loaded from scoreboard or your personal best)

this shadow function should hopefully help to create more 0ths

the map pack function inside main menu->highscores isn't finished yet
