Note: This summary may not be 100% accurate in terms of what order the 0ths were taken and who held certain 0ths between the start and end of last month’s ranking summary. Sorry about any mistakes including incomplete 0ths possessions; I’ve sought out additional information from the Metanet 0th’s thread in order to help compile this summary.

Quite a bit of 0th exchanging has happened over the past six weeks or so. Vankusss asserted his highscoring dominance early when he took 63-1 (sphere of existence) from xaelar by 0.175 seconds with a Zen-like run. He then proceeded to pinch 34-4 from Analu by the narrowest of margins: a solitary frame. He achieved this by using a slightly modified strategy of gold collection in the top left corner and narrowly avoiding a seeker zap drone with flare and style. This 0th definitively resecured vankusss’ position at the top of the 0th table.

Soon afterwards, the mysterious macrohenry resurfaced when he buffered his lead on 32-4 by a healthy 0.575 seconds, glancing the ninja off the thwumps and propelling himself with insane precision.

Vankusss found an alternative method for 39-0 which included ignoring the bounce blocks on each side and going up the middle which he capitalised on to smash xaelar’s second lost 0th of the week, although the brilliant Spanish player, EddyMataGallos, wouldn’t let van hold this new 0th without a fight, and subsequently improved van’s run. Van retaliated as usual by improving the 0th yet again. EMG then got a 125.125; exactly one second faster than xaelar’s original 0th. EMG chipped another 3 frames from his run to stand at 125.200 and eventually secured a 125.325 run; 1.2 seconds faster than xaelar’s initial 0th. Vankusss never managed to beat him back, but he was able to tie EMG’s score of 125.325 later on which means he is still a 0th up from this map for this week’s ranking due to his innovation.

EddyMataGallos swiped LAT’s 0th on 14-0 by 0.075 with some quick finger punching and good timing. Eddy then proceeded to utilise some pro mine-dodging and wall jumping skills to lock onto and secure another LAT 0th (78-0) which he did by 0.2 seconds.
Van’s next move was to clean up 12-2 by 0.2 seconds from (you guessed it) xaelar.

Then yours truly (ska) took it upon himself to innovate and steal xaelar’s fourth lost 0th of the week by using a well-timed wall jump to get the middle-right gold before the top-right gold, as opposed to doing a perpendicular jump to get the top-right gold first. ska improved his initial 0.275 second lead to 0.475 before vankusss re-entered the scene and snatched the 0th by two frames. Soon after, ska pounced and cleaned up his run to 177.200 and then settled on 177.300 which was the final score as of the September 7th rankings. Vankusss then decided to put his nimble fingers to use on 59-4 instead. He toppled the even more mysterious TWA_MATO_Titan’s 0th by 0.2 with a fantastic run, including the traditional ‘gold drop’ and an ending which TheRealOne aptly described as “sheer ballsiness”.

Vankusss didn’t stop there though, he blitzed the nightmarish 79-4 by 0.6 from xaelar which was xaelar’s fifth and final lost 0th of the month, but van fell three tantalising frames short of naem’s infamous and probably cheated run. The good news is that van thinks he has some room for improvement. It is also interesting to note that half of the levels where 0ths were improved last month have been on level 4 maps.

The last recorded 0th change was a very polished run by vankusss on 79-1 to edge out Izzy by 0.150 seconds.

10 0ths (and one tied 0th) were secured last month. Vankusss went +7 this week. EddyMataGallos went +3 and ska went +1.

Thats a wierd computer problem youve got there, i would've reinstalled my OS after a week with that problem.
