Searching by Name

So I made and posted a map a few years ago, and I don't have it anymore. I'd like it back for.. nostalgia's sake. I know the exact name of the map, but it returns nothing. I don't know the account info, but that's okay; I'm not looking for the account. So how do I search by map name?

You ... can't. You need either the username of the author, or tags.

There's no way to search by map name? That's.. hm. Why?

It's just the site, it's been scheduled for a change, but it probably won't happen anytime soon. To search for it, go to Google, type "site:nmaps.net" and then the name of the map and you might find it.

Aru: if you know the username you submitted it under you could try searching "author:aru" where "aru" is the username (aru returns no results).

If you still need to find the map, let me know. I'll find the map for you.

I tried again, searching every user name I could think of and with google. No luck. I'm contemplating writing a script to list all the maps for me just so I can search by name.
The map was called 'Tricks and Traps', and was submitted years ago.

Google is pretty good at indexing things, i doubt it missed a single map. There are three maps with the name you said in direct links and one in thumbnail (link):

It's none of those three :( and google doesn't always crawl too deep into some giant databases and forums I don't think, unless there's links to the individual pages floating around.atomizer wrote:Google is pretty good at indexing things, i doubt it missed a single map.
Haha! Thank you! That looks very promising. The site is down again, so I can't check right now, but thank you very much. That's three more maps with that name than google found.nevada wrote:there is also a little thing i made a long time ago but never told anyone about because i couldn't give enough shits to make it all pretty-like
