Changing usernames

Ok, so, I've been inactive around here for a decent while, went to log in and the forum starts telling me that i've given an incorrect username. So I have a search around and all of my old posts are now under the username kiaora rather than mintnut.

So, who changed it from mintnut? Why? Shouldn't I be notified of this when it happens so I can log in? Why couldn't I log in with my old username? Can whoever changed it change it back please?

[I'm aware that my nmaps link is to http://nmaps.net/user/kiaora , but that was because my 'mintnut' nmaps profile is broken, not because I want to be known as kiaora...]
