I'm going to post this here since, even if it is theoretically possible, it is humanly impossible (please, prove me wrong).

I started FbFing 92-4 to see whether it is possible to slip by the drone on the right and found that I could get extremely close to doing it. However, I didn't take the time to make sure the center part of the run was as fast as possible (I just took my best real time run and built off it). I'm wondering if anyone can figure out whether this is doable or not.

It's doable but doesn't help.

Unless you can beat one of the other drone as well it's pretty much useless.

I haven't MBDed anything in quite a while; and it's unlikely that I will for quite sometime. While I may come back and do the levels I never MBDed (91-4, 95-2, 96-4 that's you), it probably won't be for some time. So I'm just going to post what I have now.

This does not mean I am leaving the community. I'll still be on IRC, check the forums frequently and play N from time to time. I am just going to be a lot less active. Have been for sometime actually.

That top 10 is a fantastic selection of MBD runs.

Well that is a shame, but I understand. Life always comes first. I eagerly await 95-2. I don't care how long I have to wait for it.

93-0 is absolutely awesome. You made that run look so clean. I love all of the 4 tile action. The bottom right corner is awesome... CK > CK > Triple > RCJ O.o

How difficult is getting all of the top right gold in one jump? I haven't looked in your demo to see how much arrow switching you do, but that seems like something that could be done real time for a nice .4-.5

I also completely agree with your top-10 except I am a bit partial to your 85-1 since I came up with the route. It was also your first 10+ second improvement.

I agree that that is frikkin awesome route. But each time I watch that demo I see all the imperfections in it and how it could have been like 20 to 30 frames faster. It certainly was a special run even though I didn't put it there.

Those demos are the fucking sickest things I've ever seen, you did an awesome work. You have hugely contributed to the highscoring and general Metanet community, with MBDs, realtime runs, 0ths, new routes, and being amazing in general, in the forums, IRC, etc. ;)

Thanks for the mention Raif, I know that I'll definitely miss seeing new demos from you as often. I just wish I could be like Kool and be able to pull off the innovs in realtime. I sure tried on 1-0 but was having a tough time even with moderate underclock, no way I could do that to compete with Kool for the current 0th.

Thought this might be the most appropriate place to say that I have done an episode 00 underclock run using all of the episode 00 MBDs by Raif as a tribute to his fantastic runs. It actually took me almost a couple of hours to get all the runs perfect. I also had some weird problems interpreting the demo analysis of raif's 00-3 run and was wondering if anyone else had a similar issue...

I just meant, when you copy the data from your MBD, it plays fine, but NHigh seems to misinterpret a couple of the keystrokes which breaks the demo... I managed to tweak it, and it ended up working, but there was a hold right 1 frame near the start which was a phantom frame or something? Copy it for yourself and see if you got the same peculiarity... after getting back on track, the rest of the analysis was spot on though. I'm guessing this might be glitch in NHigh; I've certainly never seen it before.

Edit: forgot to mention that you really get a great appreciation of MBDs when you underclock them in real time. Just seeing some of the elaborate keystroke combinations used to alter the ninja's trajectory ever so subtly to hit an object or tile in a certain way was fascinating :P

9 seconds ahead of hs 0th on one of the most competed episodes... I think them runs take up all the 5 best underclocked scores of all time :P

-500. The frame counter was extremely helpful. My technique involved having NHigh open, holding the required keys until the next frame for key changing ticked over; then, the instant it did, I'd go into boss mode, switch back to NHigh and see what the next key combination would be and until what frame.
