The Community has reached 72k seconds of Total Level Score

Hey there guys. So, almost 8 years after the release of N1.4,thousands of hours of effort provided by loads of highscorers and players in general, route changes, innovations, cleanings, etc. We have now reached 20 HOURS / 72000 Seconds of Total Level Score. For those of you who know whats this TLS board about, you will realize how big of an achievement this is. The community reached 71k TLS in late 2006/early 2007 (sorry no reports proving the achievement). Since then, the score has been gradually improving, little by little, getting harder with the time.



We reached 71.9k on 5 April 2012, and since then, hard work has been put along this last 11 months, in which we have struggled to get 100 more seconds. After 256 0ths taken since then, heres the result. Thanks to everybody who has participated and helped this grow.

According to my calculations, I contributed 5.125 of those seconds (Adding up all my 0ths minus the 1st player's score). But I guess it's only a rough guide since I also contributed a lot of route changes/innovations over the years. I worked that out manually, but I'd love to know how many seconds of difference Eddy has contributed. Since he has 10 times as many 0ths as me, I'd guess somewhere around 50-60. (New NHigh function, eru? ;D)

I don't know where you got that from, but that was not my point. With that I just wanted to show how hard the last 100 seconds were, almost a year to get them despite so many 0ths being taken. But still the topic is all about the 72k, obviously. As for my last comment, I just meant that trying to grow the TLS wth new 0ths makes you appreciate it more when the community reaches 72k, thats all.

Cool! That means Eddy's average 0th lead over first is 0.23387372013651877133105802047782 seconds ;D

Compared to mine which is 0.1898148 (148 is recurring)

11.825 seconds belong to me. :D That means my average lead is around 0.358 seconds if everything is correct. But you shouldn't forget that I innovated some levels like 49-2, 61-2 and 97-3 on which I don't hold the 0th at the moment.

Thats a pretty good average lead :D But yeah doesnt count innovs. I have had some of them as well that I don't have now, but Im definitely not an innovator like you, although lately I've been trying to innov on the 0ths I take, its very satisfying.

Average lead is something interesting, it would fit in NHigh.

Yes it is the sum of all the level 0th scores. So not only is the "bar" that every play can compare the sum of the personal bests on all 500 levels against, it is the product of the whole of the highscoring history of the game.

I was so confused by this until a moment ago I realized that on highscore mode the highest score wins instead of the lowest. I feel like an idiot.
