I guess I'll be the first to say I'm not a fan. Of the mechanics of course, the levels and the new stuff is cool. The highscore mode needs fixing, and no speedrun mode? :( not a big deal if Unreality is still around. My biggest concern are the mechanics, doesn't have that feel of n glory. Seems like everything having to do with corners are out, no cs's or cj's and any form of a triple is almost as difficult as getting a htcj in 1.4. Dunno if you guys have but I haven't tried any tricks with bb's yet; hopefully triples, backward wall jumps and bb corner jumps are still around, that might be the saving grace. Anyways maybe it will get better with time, oh well.

I've got to agree that it just doesn't 'feel' like n, but hopefully I will get used to it, and it will be nice to have some new levels to play. Also a hacker already holds 00-0, so much for better cheat protection :/
Someone should probably make a new thread for this though.

Yeah bro all tricks are here but tile-related ones (cjs cks etc are gone), thwump and bb tricks are all here due to the mechanics, from which im neither a fan of, being the same as from the beta version, which we already tested out. Pretty much what I was expecting tbh.

I knew that I won't like it since the day they said they have to rewrite the whole game to AS3 (action script 3, 1.4 was in AS2 i think), meaning all bugs=tricks will be gone. I mean, yea, that's it. But I won't hate it, I just won't play it (ignoring > hating is my new life motto).
Also regarding the cheat protection, levels layout for highscoring (seriously, it's so annoying to click like 5-7 times to get to a level, also less positions on the board (WHY?)) just shows that they do not want to learn or listen to us. Unreality did a perfect job in his free time. I'll stop there.

All I wanted (and still want) was Nreality with new levels. Maybe new map editor for the map guys, so both sides are happy.

Hahaha its funny how, when you improve your score but don't take the 0th, it says ("New personal best. Keep trying for a highscore"). Its not refering to a top10 score, but to the 0th, as if 0ths were easy or something :P (I mean, not now but when all levels get highscored like crazy).

Anyway, took some more 0ths. 0-2, 47-1, 47-4 and 48-4. Weekend is over, which means Im on for 2nd week of studying, see you next weekend :P

Edit: Also I think it's pretty ironic how I finally retake 00-0 and 00-1, then literally days later the other two 0ths I've had forever (00-2 & 00-3) get taken. I'll never have peace with you guys around

But even the NReality levels (100-0 to 199-4) aren't reaching perfection yet, especially Metanet Highscore 0ths are the focus, devalue-ing NReality 0ths.

Took Ep144 using the 144-4 innov. Can't perfect the ending of said level, but was still able to produce some solid runs.

I don't want to be harsh or anything, but I think the choice of Nreality levels was really questionable :D I mean they are hard, but not really enjoyable.

On the topic, 95-3. I got 320 and then 317, so I'd say lucky me.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Tiered levels of focus from the highscoring community is a good thing. It promotes activity from bad players (i.e. me) and new players. I will never, ever, ever have another 0th on the metanet 1.4 maps, but with some time and effort and maybe a new route on another map, I can take some 0ths on the weaker NReality maps. The fact that Eddy could come take it in ten minutes doesn't diminish the fun.

More maps with more rankings would be awesome, not lame. I would play the hell out of another 500 maps.

Also, vankuss is right that a lot of the NReality maps are kind of unfun.

Hah not sure why so :P I was wrong though, I thought this was the Metanet hs 0ths, I see your 0th now macro nice job.
EDIT: Apparently forgot to post some 0ths I took, which are 97-0, and 140-1, -3, -4.
EDIT2: Took some more now: 142-1, -2, -4. 145-2. Tied 143-4 and 146-2.
Randomly took 29-3 and 7-0. Also took 65-0 and tied 10-0 and 11-3.

Late EDIT: Took 160-2 which is VotedStraw's first NReality 0th, COME AT ME BRO.

43-1, still a little bit of cleaning to be done especially on the ending, but I'm pretty happy with this one. Also got the episode. That's my 3rd episode 0th in a row btw :)

Yeah, I ghosted and mine definitely seems faster. Also, nice run on 43-1.
