I cant get into nmaps.net

It says "Great! How do I sign up?

I tried to log in and i have the user name and password correct so why isn't it letting me log in to this nmaps website?

From what I can remember, I think you should have received a confirmation/activation e-mail.
Try to log in as your username in N, then place the same password and the same e-mail address as in your N. Then check your e-mail inbox and make your first login from the activation e-mail received.
I hope it works.

It didn't work, i dont get what im doing wrong... i also tried to change my password but it said password was wrong so i logged off and typed my password and user name and i got on it makes no sense because im typing in the right password and user name :\

The only apparent issue/mistake that I can thought off, is that maybe the first time you tried to log in (the time in where NUMA ask you for a validation e-mail adress) you typed an incorrect e-mail adress and NUNA sent the validation for that adress, so now you can't get the validation because it is in other email inbox that it is not yours. Try to repeat every correct step, and if the problem persists and you don't get your validation email I suggest to you to create a new user with a new password and a new email adress in your N app and then try to log in NUMA as with your new username.

Lets solve this. NUMA works ONLY with N1.4 accounts, so if you wanna access it you know what to do. As for the maps, sorry but v2.0 and v1.4 use a completely diferent format and hence are not compatible, so its not only you but everybody "loses" their maps, in the sense that they need to create them again in v1.4 to submit them to NUMA. At the moment, M&R are working on a personal map database, lets call it NUMA v2.0, which will be stored on their server.

To your dissapointment, they will never be merged :/

Not going to happen. NUMA is for N 1.4 maps. N 2.0 has a different level format.

There's already a maps database built into 2.0. It mightn't be as good as NUMA but there's still a fair bit of functionality and unless you have some information that I don't, I don't think we can expect much more from M&R.

DAI_TOU_ZAI: get N 1.4 and make an account on there and then you can enjoy NUMA. It's served us well for eight years and community consensus is that it's better in most ways than 2.0 anyway. You can't post the maps you made in 2.0 on NUMA but you can submit them to 2.0's inbuilt database. You just click save and then publish and it's up there.

Thanks, even though the editor is kind of confusing i don't think it will slow me down that much and don't worry i know how to make maps :P I only make precision jump maps, not really into the whole gold aspect more of the challenge people with precision.

Also are the maps smaller in 1.4? it seems like it

Them looks really cool, seriously, although I would play them to have a more solid opinion (Actually I can't because my Nv2.0 lags too much under my XP operative system, that' why I play at NReality_v6g2) I can notice in them that you place a lot of unnecesary mines, like the ones in upper tiles and like placing three instead of only two for each square in grounds or slopes, just take it if you want as advice. You can force the player to very precise movements using more than the half of objects. You should get into NUMA, feedback from other users it's one of its greatest things, also there hundreds of thousands of maps and great authors and you can get a lot of inspiration there.

btw, I like the way you place your Exits with those one-ways and normal doors, it's kinda unusual and stylish.
