http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=16404 Bunkier by GrzegorzPI is pretty fun. Honestly, this is what happened:
I went to the search bar and went to advanced.
After that, i clicked the arrow and searched 'min rating' with a black search text, and i got the level.
After i did so, i rated it and immediately it went up.
Guys, the levels on the search are pretty good and funny thing is, in need of at least 1 rate to be shown to the public. So I decided to rate a bunch from there that are fantastic for others to see and not let them die out.

There's literally so many levels that are popping up everyday I can hardly keep up... ratings are next to useless because people rarely rate... even on cool levels...

What's with the sudden 'random rates' people are doing to my and other's levels? Rather odd and a bit scary.

Hi Crunchytoast, yea I agree, there have been times when u could dispair of the quality of the maps but nowdays its mostly not having enough time to win all the maps you want to win.. And on top of those good maps occasionally comes out a great Losttortuga map (!). I do believecrunchytoast wrote:

some of his maps would be fit for a national art gallery
Maxwell, 'random rates' -which maps are you talking about?

Btw... do other people here get this... when you're playing a tough level over and over... and once you've got a part down consistently and start working on something else... you get so good at the first part that it messes up the timing and actually makes it way harder...

-I put a hard bit at the start with also a waiting bit to make it a harder mental challenge in today's map: http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=20337 '' (success?) Shaolin vs Wudang ''
I think EVERYTHING makes it harder when playing a hard level lol. -Just have to stop listening to voices (incl those potential reasons). I'd say.. Its your effort, your success and notice if you have the energy to think ''practically''.

http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=19470 In God We Trust (Inspired by James_S) - M4xwell. WARNING: It's pretty difficult, and i honestly cannot believe no one has thought of this.
http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=20370 Round by TrollerLoLz. Another fun map by him, hope he goes back to his racing mood and makes another epic (along with Aoki) (ALSO: I am starting to have a big hiatus on race maps for a while... i wanna go back to my original roots and hop onto N-Art once again)
http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=7268 Impossible Level 1 by LuxxiZ. I cried internally playing this... because it's that hard and fun. I mean I went to the END of the level AND DIED. I DIED AS I WAS ABOUT TO WIN. I went to my pillow and wept softly.

While trying to playtest this map(http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=20405), I noticed that the full URL of the map didn't show on the editor tab because it was too long. I had to add the digit 5 to end of the URL to get to my map.
This method of playtesting levels is beginning to show some problems.

This thing is doable only by code editing (like diagonal oneways).crunchytoast wrote:www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=20477 wrr3rw or whatever his name is...

I discovered that you can
1. place all doors on all places, but sometimes it makes weird problems.
2. place diagonal oneways and all doors, but these doors is diagonal only in in editor. In game they appear as normal but act like diagonal. This has really interesting potential. Also makes weird problem sometimes.
3. Place diagonal thwumps, but testing freezes and it doesn't work, so it's propably useless.
4. Place drones on all places, but this also doesn't work. Game crashes when you try to play it.
Check this to understand: http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=20504 (code breaker by panstromek)

All of thrasher's homages are fantastic.
http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/nv2.html?l=20440 WTF?! Where I'm Going by TrollerLoLz. I'm so glad he went back to a race and this one, although a bit different and more free-worldish/sandboxish, lives up to the name.
ALSO: I've been seeing a lot of James_T, James_U, James_X, etc.

OK, OK. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED WHEN I LEFT? I COME BACK ONLINE, AND THIS HAPPENS. I feel like people are rating my levels only for the 'name' of the author, not how good/well done it is and that makes me a bit upset.

I didn't rate them but each of those deserves to be rated... This is what I came back to(I almost always play the new levels... this will change soon perhaps)M4xwell wrote:OK, OK. Each of these levels were made in like 2 minutes... and the authors flood the boards with them... Anyone that puts some effort into their levels should be appreciated
