So I went to see that 8-2, and holy shit. Awesome run macro.

I didn't realize Lim was so near extinction. Feels weird.

Also macro you seem to be dominating the 0th-1st difference table now, so well done on that, too! I can really appreciate such achievement :) That 79-0 is one of the best runs out there in my opinion.

The 08-2 route change was awesome. There is certainly some room for improvement there, but a solid run and that CJ is no joke (more so the set up for it) so it won't be taken easily.

About time someone took down Gutland's last 0th. Also another 0th moves on to NReality which is always a good thing.

I can't believe you took 26-0. I figured that would be Lim's last 0th and it would stand for years to come, but not so. Good on you sir.

TRO, that wasn't Gutland's last 0th, there are 48-0 and 77-1 left. And yeah, I was pretty lucky when I took 26-0 because it only took me about 15 minutes.

Took 05-3, 12-3 with an innovation and 68-2. The last one will surprise you. ;)

That last jump on 68-2 is awesome. I was hoping someone would find a way to make the top route quicker, as vans is pretty much maxed because of the drones.

re to Ska: Nv2 can run at a pretty slow speed before it says That's too slow and voids the run. I remember being surprised on a few occasions when I was playing a lagging N on another computer just for some practise and I got a score.

It dawned on me that playing in full screen (with the 'show all' selected) could be a Lot easier if u get used to it. -Before I didn't think it'd be that important and N's graphics go a bit wrong when you toggle the size of the window (it only likes full screen (which is too big on my monitor -makes the ninja look like he's moving too fast as your eyes try to follow it) and the standard small screen). I think I'm gonna persevere this time to find a compromise. Do most of you play in full screen?

Full screen is simpler because most maps need the notics of certain positions in order to get the highest score possible. I would play maps offline and online in perfect connection and it still won't give me my score (correct score) due to 'problems'.

Ehm standard small size is an original setting there's nothing wrong with that one and I assume the full screen size is also original (proper) setting. So you're saying that if I pick a size in the middle (which doesnt look quite right like I mentioned above (i edited post btw)) it might mess up my scores?

I toggled the size to make the ''grid'' that shows up turn to perfect squares -maybe that's what its for, to tell you that all the points are where they should be.
EDIT: I toggled a lot more and found a medium size at which the grid disappears :D

I prefer to have game as large as it is possible. Gameplay is much more comfortable this way, you can be more accurate. I usually zoom into small maps even more. It doesn't affect scores or any other aspect.

well you are quite a progressive guy Panstromek (going on numa maps etc). Fair enough, but I don't like 'too big' for the reason I mentioned above and cause of the look of the ninja too heh

Do most of you play in full screen?

I don't know about others but ever since I discovered it was possible I've been playing in fullscreen and it's improved my gameplay a lot. I recommend it especially if you have a large monitor and you want to play competitively.

Yea I'm much happier now playing in medium size as opposed to standard. (My monitor is big).

So yea the reason is: I think the ninja looks like a retarded ant in full screen and because the figure has to travel all the way across your monitor it makes it harder for your eyes to follow I think -as the speed is higher.

Hey macro, awesome runs as usual. Heh, indeed I wasn't expecting that jump there haha, nice one. And good job on 5-3, I thought I had cleaned it enough to last forever, seems Ill have to take a shot at it again :P I can barely play lately as you can see, but I swear I'll try to play to defend these 0ths I'm losing lately! Maybe in Christmas.

As for fullscreen, I don't use it, I much prefer the standard size because of how N looks, and of course out of habit.

Oh :P The highscores we post here are v1.4 only, which means they are also in NReality since NReality is an expansion of N1.4. Although NReality includes new levels which aren't posted here, as this is just for 1.4 levels. You can see them through N1.4 or through NReality, just go to the highscores menu and click on any episode, and then on any level, thats it. Unlike on Nv2.0, you don't need to have beaten the level to be able to see the highscores.

You can also see the scores on http://n.infunity.com/ which is the main site of NReality, and hence only includes scores submitted via NReality (even if they are from v1.4 levels). This isn't really important as since 2007 most highscorers play with NReality, because its cheatproof and allows you to prove yourself as a legit player. (Thats why I told cris to use NReality, so we could laugh at how he fails to do those perfect chimeys here).

Now let's be honest; you were planning on slope jumping in to the angled ceiling above the door right? So how come when I mess up in a run I die miserably and when you "mess up" you get a perfect Heightless CK?

No, I really planned on doing the final jump like this. I think the trick is to fall from the left onto the slope while holding right all the time... or something like this.

Wow what a complete redo of the route. Super well thought out. Certainly one can finish up the right side with out that extra jump/hesitation to dodge the Gauss. So this route is really like a 3 second improvement.

Damn, missed 299 by a frame. :( I knew the route was awesome, but I didn't expect it to have THAT much potential. 300 might be possible with an extremely clean run.
