I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that. You can lure it away at the start so it's not in the way at the end like I accidentally did in my episode run but it doesn't really make a difference. Otherwise you have to be fast (or slow) enough to get past it.
Okay, I thought that might be the case. cheers.

Weird... I don't have the "select all" text there... it just says "code" for me...
it's a forum skin thing. retronet is the only one that has it.

as an aside, if you're not using chrome or retronet, you won't be able to vote in polls, including the one about the bubble wrap dispenser.

Took 188-4 and 115-4, the latter with a bit of a sloppy jump after the bbcj, still very much improvable. After comparing my demo with danielr's several times I'm still not sure which route is faster for the end climb.

Thank for the competition, MiBeM! ;)
Most of the runs I've just posted are only minor improvements to old ones. I was going to post them when I got 110-0, but for some reason I can't get that last frame!

Congrats - but watching the runs in demo mode shows there is a lot of room for improvement...

Yeah, I compared them as well and I'm pretty sure a flawless run would be close to a second faster than mine.

Took 50-1 by almost a second. This was pretty easy to get and I'm surprised no one has taken it since 2008.
Edit: Also got 50-4.

Sweet runs, man. 50-1 is much cleaner than your first attempt, well done.
As for 50-4, check out the start by Darkshadow1416. I was going to try it, but never got round to it :P

Improved on 52-2, which was one of my earliest 0ths and the only one from before 2012 that hasn't been taken from me yet.

Also messed around a bit more on 50-4 and figured out a pretty interesting route in my episode run. I think it might be a decent amount faster than the original one if executed perfectly.

Took 57-3. Jumping off the corner right after the thwumps on the way back would be faster but I missed it.

One thing about this level I don't understand. Most of the time on the way back the thwumps will just zap you to death but sometimes you get through with seemingly equal speed. Any theories on what causes this variation?

This is something I also noticed when I highscored this level. It made me rage. I got the impression that your speed depends on where you land after the walljump on the E tile below the gauss.

Great run btw, you're becoming a really good speedrunner!

You just beat a six year old run... that's no small feat!

Nice run Mibem, beating a Lim run is always impressive, however I have taken it :p
Also took 57-1
