Going to work on episodes now, Eddy? Nice runs all around there. I'm curious though, about how long (real time) does it take you on an episode 0th run?

Thanks man, yeah after 72k TLS its about time I get back to episodes and TES, plus most of my non-top5 scores are episodes so this will really help me improve in a bunch of leaderboards (including 0ths as for now I'm planning to take them, so it really is the perfect time to go for epis).

Regarding the second question, I guess it really depends on the episode, how long has it been since I last played it and how clean I'm aiming to finish. Average might be around 45 mins, although these latest ones took longer since I put more effort on leaving them pretty optimal. They all took about an hour except for 35 which took me about half an hour since the routes are all easier and its not that clean either. 38 is not that clean neither, but levels are complicated there. From now on, I'll probably be devoting as much as I did in these latest ones, to end up with as decent as possible episode runs and try to avoid having to repeat them in the future when attacking TES and so on.

Ouch, yeah that final rcj on 79-4 is definitely a run killer. If it makes you feel better, some might remember I took 5 tries to do it and take Ep79! That was brutal man, and now with the recent 3 second cleansing of macro in 79-0, the ep run is not as clean anymore :/ I don't plan on improving it yet unless its necessary though.

It just boggles my mind... Mr_Lim had over 200 0ths, and now all bar one of them has fallen. To watch Mr_Lim's entire rise and fall unfold in real time is ineffable.

Its indeed very impressive, to be honest I've always kind of considered Lim as the starter of the modern era highscoring scene along with xela, I mean lets be honest before him the scores were pretty unclean overall, but in 2007 thanks to these 2 (and lat too) the boards were completely revolutionized, and the standard was really raised. Its also an important inflection point because I doubt any highscorer before it would be able to compete for 0ths nowadays, meanwhile from 2007 and on, the standard was so suddenly raised that any highscorer after that point is notably more skilled than old-schoolers, e.g. I have no doubt Lim would have no trouble getting to 72k nowadays, and obviously xela too. Maybe lat too.

2007 was a truly crazy year, I mean even though most 0ths from there have fallen, the overall routes and scores are not that different nowadays.

But anyway, back to the topic, took Ep43, Ep44 and 44-4.

I always fail to find an episode in which that is doable for me :P As far as I remember, Ep50 has been the closest I've had, I came 0.175 off 0th in 50-0, and took 0th in all other 4 levels. Although since then I've improved all of them but -2 so only that one still stands in the ep run.

Took Ep47 and 47-0. Pretty close to column ep domination, only missing 46, I will attack that other day ;)

I reduced the difference between the community's TLS and TES under 500 secs.

Nice accidental 0th. I think there is still a little bit of time doing the BBCK to WJ on the left wall like Meta does. I am not sure how tough that angle is though. Your center room is perfect though so that won't be easy to beat.

Hey macro thanks for your nice words, and great work overall :D That little find in 44-0 is very clever, every single frame in such a level is important. Ep86 was the last non-NReality Ep 0th :D

I'll do some activity today after watching the finals, Germany has definitely been more dominating throughout the comp, we'll see what happens.

That is a really really good episode run. That is one of the longest episodes as well so to have that good of a difference is seriously impressive. Also kudos on cleaning up Ep86 and moving that to NReality.

Awesome runs Eddy. It's been a while since I contributed any innovs, and I noticed while watching your Episode 52 that you can just jump straight over the mines at the start of 52-1 (I'm kind of surprised no-one tried this before).

I'm sitting here wondering if its possible for Eddy to have a true column domination: complete ownage (or maybe even just 75%) of an entire column. He just about had all the ep 0th in the 40s, so maybe thats a good place to start. I also don't have any 0ths there, so it keeps him away from me for a while too :D

@golf: That'd be really cool. Regarding that 75% figure, I'm going to check my nº of 0ths in each column to see how I'm doing in that respect.

EDIT: Turns out my best column is the 20's, with 65% of all 0ths. I guess I'll have to work on that a bit more!

God Damn Eddy! I am not sure I could even beat all of those episodes as fast as you are taking the 0ths... O.o

With respect to 87-0 thank you for going to the left at the start... You were actually quite far ahead of kryX through the switch, but when it he chimneys and gets off the jump in to the fall earlier that lead disappears. That cheated 0th is going to be tough to beat.
