Thanks Eddy, although apparently I was thinking of van instead of you. I knew there was .025 (me), then .050 (Lim), and then a .075 that I thought was yours lol. Worst part is that I got 3 agd runs after that one that were slower...

Do you have any advice on a tip/trick to more consistently survive that first fall off the corner kick? That's the most frustrating part of the run for me.

Oh yeah it is for me too, unfortunately I don't have any method for it but trying to fall on the 'proper spot' of the corner (which tends to cause a lot of deaths). As you can see from my run, I didn't even get the propulsion, as I was just focusing on surviving it :P Macro might have it, as in order to pull off a 0th run you better not leave things to luck.

Its a nice run you've got anyways, I think the final jump at the end is just as important as the corner propulsion for a 0th run.

Haha sorry to dissapoint. Thanks, the final jump is indeed very important as well, it does save a lot. The thing is, for a 0th, every bit is important :P

Seems like the bottom of that curve is shallow enough that you'll still die, especially since you have to stay pretty well centered to get the last piece of gold. I really don't want to have to do the same route as the ending, since that's going to be so much slower.

That could be a nice advice, maybe consider it as some approximation trick, that is, try to aim to the end of the slope; then, if you start pressing left after taking the gold, you might hit the beginning of the corner which is what you want to survive the fall, and get the propulsion. You could try that, I haven't tested it so I'm just talking.

I don't think falling on the slope is effective either, that's almost flat and would kill you, that's why I thought that maybe the trick is that you get the impression that you are going to fall there, but eventually you turn and hit the beginning of the corner, thats the only explanation.

Thanks for the help guys, I've already improved a bit over my current subbed run, but I'm going to wait until I get a better one to actually let you all see what I've done. Besides, I think its kinda funny that I'm only a frame behind the exalted Mr_Lim while missing a piece of gold when he gets them all :D

Oh yeah, thats because that map is from N v2.0 in which the 1 object per frame rule doesn't apply anymore, hence you never miss any stacked objects. It can lag the game if the stack is too big though.

89-0, in my new episode run - I get the exit switch but keep the rocket penned up. Nothing really astounding, and its not even fast enough to be in the top-20 by itself, but I think that's pretty cool. Also, got 2nd on the episode run and got the new route on Mt Doom :)

Thanks :) Only problem is it means I erased my old 0th run that was the first to take Lim down. I did think ahead to save the demo off of infunity though, before submitting and overwriting my score. If I say so myself, that was a pretty sexy run too, with a dodge between chaingun bullets coming out of the heart of the volcano.

Nice runs on 233747, macro and Hendor. I knew there should be a way to get the wj in the sr route like both of you do.

Very odd glitch in that other run of macro's. I've seen it before on a couple highscores somewhere in the 50's column, I think, but definitely not for as long as that one is. I forget what the explanation we came up with was though.
