39-4 has at least 0.6 left based on my fail attempt. That 2nd rcj is hard.

I am stunned at the 90-0 route change, seriously. When I saw jp's score I thought "holy shit, that's either a perfect run or a new route, either are impressive".

Heh, sorry. That was done to nobody, but for me! I assume you meant .675? Anyways, yeah that's a (the) tricky part. Best idea is to practise that alone till you figure out a consistent method, which is doable. After that, you get it fairly often.

Good to see you still got it Van! Nice run. That level just got very tight. Also I would agree that with this route the final CJ may not save anything. A perfect RCJ+WJ would put you nicely on top of that platform for just a regular jump. But then there is always Raif's route =P

Aha yes! van making a move, I love that. I saw a lot of potential though so I had to take it, sorry man :P There's still a lot to be cleaned though, none of us are doing the fast corner push.

Also, swift innov there jp. I'll take a shot at it later, I can see potential based on our ghosts.

@TRO: There's actually a good room for that final RCJ+WJ to get you to the platform. In fact, all of us are releasing the jump key earlier, just to not lose time. The jumps had even more power.

Great run. Definitely a lot of time left on that map in cleaning, but it is such a tough run now that will not be easy.

I feel like the 85-3 route that jp mentioned was limited by the chainguns; however, if you know anything about chaingun drones, it's that one can stay up all night to get lucky...

By the way, 15-1 has a bit of time left with cleaning if you use macro's start.

Just to be clear, did you mean instead of corner jumping to land clearly and hit the exit? I think it might just be you mixing up 'then' and 'than' though. The way you phrased it makes it sound like you could shave off an extra frame by jumping before the exit; I assume that's not what you meant...

That's certainly faster than what I had expected, although I'm not sure how the different approach will affect this in the actual run. Its probably worthwhile though.

Just to be clear, did you mean instead of corner jumping to land clearly and hit the exit? I think it might just be you mixing up 'then' and 'than' though. The way you phrased it makes it sound like you could shave off an extra frame by jumping before the exit; I assume that's not what you meant...

I did mean 'then' in fact, I should have added 'and then jumping' to make it clear though, now that I read it. The thing is, all this time we are talking about the platform below the exit door, not the exit door platform itself (remember with this route we go onto this platform first). I thought landing and jumping was faster than corner jumping because the angle of approach was too vertical for a cj to give you a decent horizontal speed, although I don't think that now based on nadroj's demos.

After what felt like days of trying to get that first jump right, taken 38-4 with an agd run, occupy xaelar!
With a clean run it's possible to beat another half cycle of the drones.
