Eddy got 50 points, but he hasn't retaken the contest. golfkid squeezed out 43 more points, and is still 4 points ahead of Eddy. lifdoff showed up to kick some butt on a couple of levels. SnakeekanS and Jirka played again, and did relatively well, and even paradox-dragon made an appearance. Congratulations to everyone!

Speedrunning
I don't actually have authorization to edit the speedrunning board, because shom is an idiot and forgot to add me to it, so that won't change until he gets back from holiday. However, I tallied points anyway.

To the surprise of no one, Eddy got 50 points here as well, making that 3 weeks in a row. getpucht showed up for the second week in a row. Maybe he'll be a regular here? Jirka and SnakeekanS also played here, but Jirka did better than Snake in speedrunning. golf didn't really give it his all in speedrunning like he did in highscoring, but that's okay. Everyone is a winner in NPoints. Well, I mean, the player with the most points is the winner, but we like everyone anyway. ;) shom and lifdoff also showed up for a couple levels, but didn't get scores on everything, and paradox showed up for level here too.


There will not be levels next week
Because people go on vacations around this time of year, week 4 levels will be up 4 January, 2016. At that point, everything will continue as normal.

golf didn't really give it his all in speedrunning like he did in highscoring, but that's okay.

There's a good reason for that. Between playing all 5 maps both here and in v2, I don't really want to spend the extra time to make speedruns of the maps as well. That's already 5+ hours gone without doing the sr competition. Its too bad there's not more people involved, I wonder how many points my hs runs would be getting with a fuller roster in sr.

What are you so worried about Eddy? That still doesn't put you in the lead after this week, and as long as you keep playing every map you'll come out on top by a large margin at the end anyways. Just let me have my 2 points :P

Bro are you expecting me to ignore mathematical errors just like that, REALLY? You think this is a game? The difference is that if your lead is less than 5 points, then taking all 0ths next week will guarantee me the top spot already, meanwhile a 6 points lead might not :P

Had this happen to me a couple times when playing the first map this week, "(title too long)". Probably a slower way to do the top gold, but definitely wins on style points I think.

Golf ruined eddy's perfect week by taking "on shakey ground", and kept the #1 spot from eddy by a single point. Eddy subbed a better run, but roughly 12 hours too late. Eddy had another perfect week in speedrun however. In speedrun cineva showed up and got 3 1sts, and we had another appearance by mohit.

Maps are published on Mondays, scores are tallied on the following Sundays, lather, rinse, repeat.

We publish and Tally as PST Midnight, publishing a day later than we tally the last weeks points. PST Midnight Saturday/Sunday is tally. PST Midnight Sunday/Monday is publish.
Sorry if there was confusion. I'll make sure to a) have a countdown again, and b) put GMT finish time in my post.

Scores are tallied 8AM your time, I think (I assume you're in GMT), which is 8 hours after PST'S Midnight.

Thanks for the countdown timer! These maps are very interesting; I've never been a huge fan of the speedrun style that seems to be popular on v2, and I'm finding it a bit hard to find good flow. Thankfully I have a master at work that I can copy... Thank you Eddy! :P

Yeah, it's interesting. As far as I've seen, the speedrun kind of map style is unique to v2, I haven't seen any nreality maps that are like that.

Eddy got 50 points for the second week in a row. golf still has a chance though! Eddy might get hit by a car or something and his game will be thrown off just enough that golf can pass him! You never know in NPoints! This is a crazy, crazy highscoring contest. Jirka and SnakeekanS kept up their battle for 3rd and 4th place, and Jirka passed Snake this week! This week in speedrunning, Eddy got 50 points for the... two...three... SIXTH TIME?! Jeez! Clearly I have not been paying attention to this side of the contest. Jirka also apparently passed Snake in speedrunning this week. Gotta step up your game, Snake! golf is still in 2nd here, but there's a bigger distance between him and Eddy than in highscoring. Something serious would need to happen to Eddy for golf to pass him here. Ebola, perhaps. Mohit_Ghune had his best week so far, getting 34 points, beating his previous best of 27, so congratulations to him! Hyteriux played for the second week in a row, and is only 1 points behind shomman, and only 11 points behind getpucht. Just play one more week, Hyt, and you can pass those pieces of perfectly good people. Jawz and loudog also played for the second week here... :D
