Regarding kryx (aka ANGERFIST), read through these threads:
http://metanet.2.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=10633
http://metanet.2.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=7561

L3X and crappitrash (aka fuckingyourdad) have admitted to cheating, I believe. The general consensus with Goo and naem is that they are cheaters. But naem's situation is a little more nebulous.

Heh, I'm actually surprised I still have 3 0ths, and that it qualifies me in the Top 20. :D

since when was goo's runs not counted, he improved over time. I read all his posts the other day. Seems a tad harsh to me..

Perhaps. I've always had the impression that they were cheated, especially when you consider all his best runs are in episode 02 and involve super fast jumping.

L3X admitted to cheating many of his runs.

Crappitrash admitted to cheating a few runs and using keymapping in order to chimney faster. (I don't consider that cheating.)

Fuckingyourdad is crappitrash and he cheated with him.

Naem is controversial. He never admitted to anything.

I don't know about goo, his runs sure do look cheated, but there's no proof I'm aware of.
I don't ignore anyone but kryx, L3X, and F---ingyourdad though, because there's not enough proof for everyone else. Xaelar only has 167 0th's on my nhigh =p
I don't see what bad could come from informing the members of the known cheaters...
how can you cheat anything in this game?

Ok i've noticed Etz had previously beaten my speedrun 0th on 29-3, which I thought was pretty good.

Well, 0th on 29-3 is back on me! xaelar should have another go on it - it would be a good challenge, I think it's very quick. TFK would be proud!

I'm really pleased with it, non-FBFed as it is :)

I'm not much a highscorer myself, but even that brings a rush of jealousy.

Well highscores are much harder to get than speedruns, so if you want top 20s go for speedruns, and highscoring on legacy lvls isnt too hard, but if you want metanet highscores, goodluck. i have still yet to get one of those lol, but i think i might try harder because some of those would really mean something. Speedruns top 20s really arent too impressive.

18 Sp33dY - 130
- Amdi - 130

Ignoring: kryx, naem, ANGERFIST, crappitrash, L3X, Goo and all the hackers. (same as previous)

I break 250 scores for the first time that I can remember (I think... I at least got close a year or so ago, but lost about 30 scores while I stopped playing) and I got 2 new 0th scores: 6-4 and 12-0. zj820 drops out of the top-20 for the first time since August, 2007. Congratulations to ToeFaceKiller for amassing 500 top-20 scores. This also means xaelar has dropped below 200 0ths but still remains 35 0ths clear or Mr_Lim (37 if you include xaelar's episode 0 score). Mr_Lim still manages to cling onto a massive 593 top-20 scores despite his inactivity, truly an amazing player who is an inspiration to any player.

Enjoy!

Got my 100th highscore today with 24-1. Only 30 more to break into the top 20!

Also,

So, 35 plus 1 equals 37? Or does Lim have the current 0th on episode 00? The math is confusing me.
[16:24] <@golfkid> I'm pretty sure I will literally scream if I die on the last column of 78-4 at this point

Lol. I got 2 0ths now ;)
I can't remember what my second one was but I remember that my first one was 67-1 on speedrun. And they should make a special version of N that reboots so there are no highscores. But the same version as the current one so we don't have to say bye to people like Mr_Lim. And have you seen his run on 67-2 speedrun! man ;)

ermmm. What?

There already is a special version of N with 'reset' highscores so only legitimate runs can be submitted it's called NReality as you must already know, since you have speed run mode, to activate it, just change the legit.txt file so instead of having '0' it has '1'. And by the way, My_Lim hasn't even submitted a 67-2 speed run score...

Excuse my ignorance, but how do we know these guys hacked? And whats up with Goo and fuckingyourdad?
In the case of naem, history lesson kids: naem showed up in late '05 with seven zeroths. Pretty clean, and a few were quite innovative. Naem was good, on a level commensurate with Mr_Lim six months later. He grabbed 40 0ths in a few short months, and as his totals rose, two prominent highscorers, spect and Knu, accused him of hacking. The funny thing was he took most of his levels with some clever innovations rather than pure cleanliness, and unlike kryx after him, was unable to blow johnny_faneca out of the water. naem posted a thread mocking the people accusing him of hacking, and while it wasn't the nicest thing to do, people generally accepted his scores as legitimate at first, and moreso after kryx began stealing many of them. Later, in early '07 or so, people started accusing naem of hacking again. I have no idea why.
There is no evidence, nor has there ever been, that naem fabricated any of his highscore runs. I have no idea why anyone would exclude them.
In the case of kryx, he showed up in early '06 and within two months had racked up nearly 100 scores-a far, far faster rise than naem before him. He was accused of hacking and later admitted to it. He returned as ANGERFIST, once again using game slowdowns to get incredible scores, but was outed again. Crappitrash and L3X both admitted to hacking, and crappitrash admitted to creating the f***ingyour[family member] accounts. Goo somehow took absolutely ridiculous scores on Episode 2 without any previous highscore activity and within a short timespan. It was generally agreed that these scores were illegitimate.
In conclusion: stop calling naem a hacker. He's not. He never was.
As soon as we wish to be happier, we are no longer happy.
