Of course we are!
N+ needed to come first, because I'm sure it was worth a ton of money, as well as time. Plus, I think it's all done now.
There have already been Robotology demos and such out, so no doubt the game is progressing.
And yeah, then when all the good changes have been made to N, I'm sure it will be released. Just be patient.

Chain Demo
An Earlier Chain
And... The Full-Game Demo (which is not meant to represent the game, but merely be a demo of things that have been mentioned)
I'm sure there are more... just rummage around in their blog for a bit.

That is exactly what I was going to say, however I have a bit to add onto thtis statment. I think that the reason N1.5 will not some out is that M&R will have been discouraged with the amount they would have to implement comparitvely to NReality. Also becuase they know that Unreality will just beat their pants off within a few weeks of releasing. Knowing that someone will destroy a few months work for you in possibly a few hour, would -you- want to release it? I know I wouldn't.Atilla wrote:Personally, I don't think we're likely to see N v1.5, since Metanet have more important projects (also since Nreality has already implemented many features people wanted in v1.5). We may get source code at some point, though.
However, I can see a source code being released in the place of N1.5, because its just not worth all the effort to make Unreality and other modders go through the struggle of legal issues. Something like NReality was bound to happen, it was just a matter of time.

It has become apparent that almost none of you guys read the Metablog, so, here, the metablog:

hey everyone,
Sorry we just got around to these forums -- FINALLY! We've been trying to limit our internet use and focus on getting work done, which so far has been a success.
We still don't have any dates, but we're getting a lot done on Robotology, thought there's still TONS more to do. We're getting more excited about it as it comes together though, we'll keep posting on our blog -- lately we've just been working on the editor, which isn't as exciting as the physics stuff sadly.
We're still planning on releasing another update to N, however we don't know when or what it will look like -- at this point, it might be a ground-up rewrite in AS3. We have other games in the works also, but we can't talk about them quite yet. For the time being we're working only on Robotology (and N+ as it comes up.. possibly there will be more map-packs).
Anyway.. we're really glad to see that you're all as excited about Robotology as we are -- thanks! :)

You people are so impatient. The second they release Robotology, you'll be harping for Robotology 2.0. And once N1.5 comes out, it'll be a constant drone for 1.6
Can't you just enjoy what you have?

epigone, I'm pretty sure they said somewhere that 1.5 will be the final version.
EDIT: And it has been a while since their last PC update. I understand the whole thing with N+ because it was a good money-maker, which they probably desperately needed at the time, but ever since I played 1.4 for the first time nothing has happened to the game except Unreality updates.

Other Project
Soon as in later. Probably post-December. However, aperture and I are in contact, so rest assured we are at least thinking about it.

Even that really has nothing to do with 1.4 as the whole of Nreality was composed by Unreality with no imput from Mare and Raigan. And even those updates have stopped now; we haven't had one in months.Turiski wrote:...but ever since I played 1.4 for the first time nothing has happened to the game except Unreality updates.
