Thanks! This came as quite the surprise to me as well. I've been perusing all the functions and it doesn't seem to be overly complicated. Although I imagine there will be some work to do once we merge all the threads from the old forum onto this one. I'm pretty excited about all of this.Condog wrote:Congrats to atob, epigone and Pheidippides for the newly acquired modship!

Thanks! It was quite the pleasant surprise this morning. I'm looking forward to the completion of the move even more now. Also, mods, how do you pin topics? I looked around the Mod CP and can't find it.Condog wrote:Congrats to atob, epigone and Pheidippides for the newly acquired modship!

I love the new default skin over the old default skin, but the Soul City skin has won my heart, love, and passion. Congrats to all the new mods, as well.

Congrats to the new moderators! And yay! New forum! The Metanembers and Legacy Elite get to maintain their ranks, right? I hope so.

Metanembers don't exist anymore, but Legacy Elite is a good question.shark wrote:Congrats to the new moderators! And yay! New forum! The Metanembers and Legacy Elite get to maintain their ranks, right? I hope so.

I'm curious as well, but we need to give this forum some time to get everything running before we start complaining about anything.

I'm working on figuring out what Legacy Elite will get from the change-over as we speak.

A special user group would suffice. And maybe a thread where they can be worshipped forever?....Kablizzy wrote:I'm working on figuring out what Legacy Elite will get from the change-over as we speak.

These new forums have the nice NUMA Profile field in our profiles, but can we turn that into a button that appears on every post?

maestro stole my thoughts!
Yeah, I was thinking, next to "Profile" and "Priv. Msg" would be cool.

Would that require any extreme coding, or does Atilla just need to whip up a fancy new image for the button?Spawn of Yanni wrote:maestro stole my thoughts!

Eh, the change is good in general, and any place run by Dave, LV, and the Blizz can't possibly fail.
However, I can't help but dislike the skin/overall color of the new board.
I don't like black skins in general, they hurt my eyes.
Though you've probably heard that point already.

It does indeed. Personally, I don't like the green, but with all of the tweaking and designing of new skins, the colour of the groups could be changed afterwards to fit in with the new skins.

Yeah. The new forums are really cool. Congrats Blue_Tetris, Keron, Kablizzy, Tsukatu, and everyone else. More organized, more fun, and that IPB look is gone. Yay!

Kudos to the Legacy Elite! Maybe a silver would go good as a colour for them, at this point.
