The Comic That Gets Progressively Better
Think you have ideas worth contributing to my comics? If so, PM me your idea and I might put it in my comic. And, of course, your name will be cited in the comic.Drathmoore wrote:Invader Zim. A pretty unique idea, I must admit. =D
Overall... It's getting progressively better. I'm a bit interested to see where it goes from here.

The leading maker of music engraving software is Sibelius - http://www.sibelius.com/products/index.html . Sibelius also makes some more initial-composition-oriented products. For music composition software, it really depends on the genre. A lot of electro/techno/expirimental is done using a tracking synthesizer/sampler, in which you place notes and effects on a grid that then scrolls upwards, notes being played as they hit the top. the most popular tracker (in my experience) is ModPlug, which is conveniently free. there's a pretty steep learning curve, and as a general rule music composition software sucks to use if you don't have a MIDI musical keyboard. People who don't plan on performing their music on the computer usually compose music in software that holds to more conventional music engraving. Sibelius products are very popular to them, as well as certain MIDI sequencers.
that said, don't make the mistake of thinking I'm a musician. Although I've tried to pick up trackers, I'm really not good at music in general.

But you would describe yourself as uber-gay, right, jean-luc? OP mentioned that the project is, too; I don't see how you wouldn't be able to help.
"... and when i say 'scary as hell' i really mean 'tight pink shirt'." -kai

Depends on what you mean by 'uber-gay.' I have not so far developed a lisp (I got over my speech impediment!) and I'm not currently considering interior design as a career path.Tsukatu wrote:But you would describe yourself as uber-gay, right, jean-luc? I am gay, as you posit. However, I don't think I'd be any good at this project. Although I don't believe enough experimentation has yet been conducted to confirm this, your hypothesis is so far appears incorrect.
