Try to hold back a little bit, as it's early in the week yet and other Judges may still want to help out. If it gets to be later in the week and there are still quite a few challenges left, then by all means go crazy. :)Turtle wrote:I will judge incluye. I don't know if there's a limit to the amount we can judge. *checks rules*
Edit: I didn't see a limit, so I can keep on judging others? I actually have time today. If Preidippides doesn't care, and no judges speak up, then that'd be fun.

In that case, I'll wait until Saturday to judge more, unless we begin to fill up more.

Well done so far, Judges. Keep up the good work, this week's getting pretty busy. For my part, I've confirmed all the demos mentioned or posted in this thread up until this post and taken care of the latest batch of results. We're running smoothly so far!

Considering judges seem to be doing newer entries than mine, I'm just curious if it's in the process of being judged. Thanks.

In response to Skyline, not that I know of. Judges, here is a list of the remaining challenges (all found on pages 4 & 5 of this thread):
Skyline
Hoohah2x2sday
BlckNWhteNnja
stonedeagle
Zivilyn
addicted_ancestor
isaacx
Destiny
notsteve
Nine left out of twenty challenges this week. I knew this week was busier than Week 1, but I didn't realize it was that much busier. And with a bit under 30 hours still remaining for Week 2 challenges. o,o

I don't see a score of any sort. Do me a favor and at least tell me why I lost. I wouldn't be so pissed off if I hadn't worked for 3 hours on that map and tileset.

He's not telling us the scores anymore.

sorry judges that I haven't been as active, but my N CD got scratched, and I need to pull up a new copy of N from my e-mail every time to play (30 min wait). Closer to the end of the week, I'll pick up some more judging, all at the same time to be time-efficient.
Now back from life.

I'll judge Zivilyn's.
edit: finished. Now I'll take stonedeagle and isaacx if no one's doing them.

Why don't you tell us the score? I think it's pretty fucked up if you spend 3 FRICKIN HOURS on a map and they keep it a secret at why you lose. If you tell us why we lose, then we know what to work on, and they get BETTER! MORE PEOPLE WIN, and you don't have to get sick and tired over floorguard maps every single day, and you get to see more variety. Cmon people. Think about this, and tell me whether you really want to judge floorguard after floorguard, finding the same mistakes from the same people, every time.

He's got a point. If you want to extend the Pokemon metaphor to this it'd basically be like not being able to see the opponent Gym Leader's Pokemon or the moves they use. Oh I see the HP on my last guy just got drained in one hit. Wish I knew what level and type of monster and what move he was using so that I could work my strategy out a little better. Only the the metaphor still doesn't come close, because after whiting out you could go straight back to the gym and try again. If we have to wait a week we should at least get a review with reasons from the judge, even if they don't give us the numerical value.
I don't even know what my results are yet, I'm just backing up tinkers because I agree with him.

When people got the scores, there was almost a big controversy over differences in Judge's opinions and "It's not fair that Judge X gave the Gym map score Y and Judge A gave the Gym map score Z because I would've won with Judge X, but I had Judge A, so I lost." and all that. What I can do, though, is send the Judge's comments with the result? Not the scores, but any notes they made about the map in their judging. Would that be okay?
