I used it ONCE for trying to sell some really old things like Pokemon cards. but apparently people wanted them in sets, rather than randoms. So I never tried again.

Sometimes.

I use it to sell spare computer parts and to buy new ones. It's the best place I've found for it.

I use amazon for most other buys/sells, it's more expensive but the quality of service is a lot higher.

I've only but one thing online and that was on Amazon. It was some fountain pen. Now I tend to stay away from it, don't like online shoppin'.

My parents oppose online buying. Period. They seriously think there's a high chance that some confusion will happen. I try to tell them, with the right precautions, it's all good.

Amazon is a trusted source, right? And Newegg?

Yes. Amazon, Newegg, Ebuyer, Play, etc... there are plenty of trustworthy online sources.

Ebay can be a little trickier, but as long as you pay attention to a user's feedback you'll find little trouble. Due to the nature of the feedback system itself, problems/delays are usually sorted very quickly and politely.

I've been buying almost everything online for years and I've only ever experienced a few problems. I've never lost anything, though.

My parents bought me three Star Trek movies for my birthday on Amazon, though.

Use it to buy some video games and some star trek stuff on the cheap.

Used it to get my signed copy of Transmetropolitan Issue 1 by Warren Ellis.

Nope. For some reason, Amazon or Ebay (Forgot which one) won't sell stuff to Ireland.
Why?

I do, every so often. I mostly buy CDs that are either new and cheap or old and cheap and where a new copy is hard to find or over-priced.

I sell used computer parts over eBay. mostly hard-to-find items like laptop components (motherboards, display panels, touchpad assemblies, plastic assemblies, etc...).
